There's a bunch of remote, very hard to get to quarries near me that have been here since the 90s. A few of them have no access at all, only way in is walking the railroad, been wondering if it would be a waste of time.

When catching bass is a struggle, trying another spieces. For me Crappie is a good winter or other pieces.

Depends on body of water and how easily you can move around it but I’d say at least fan cast everywhere you can before moving on
