Nice! I felt like I was back in Yellowstone. Boy, you were lucky to get to see those Grizzly Bears, wish I could have seen some. I'm at home base now after seeing my brother's family in central Calif. last week. I also went to the coast at San Simeon, Cambria and Morro Bay. Got to see some sea lions and sea otters. Hi Adele. Yes, we were really lucky to get to see those Grizzly Bears. We did not get to explore the Northeast area of Yellowstone because of weather and road conditions. We love Morro Bay. Will have to check out some of the places you mentioned. We saw the sea lions, that was so cool. We can't wait to get back to the West Coast again soon.
Great video! You were lucky to have nice sunny weather. I stayed at one of the campgrounds inside the park for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend (just a week or so before the floods). It snowed and was mostly cloudy but still beautiful to see. I am ready to go back!
Hi Mary. We were so lucky to have nice sunny weather. Normally it would have snowed by that time. We wanted to go to Yellowstone in April or May when we were driving through Idaho, but it would not stop snowing. It was probably all that snow that caused the flooding. Wow !! you got out before the flood !! That was so awesome that you were able to stay at one of the campgrounds and over Memorial Day weekend !! We hear campgrounds fill up so fast !! We were there during the off-season, all campgrounds were closed which is why we had to stay outside the Park near Cody, Wyoming which took 2.5 hours drive to Old Faithful. We were told that we picked the prettiest entrance to go into Yellowstone National Park.
