He nailed it! Perfect analogy. Points well taken. This ranks as one of the most astoundingly needed talks I have heard!

This is the greatest BYU speech of all time. I’ve watched it at least 5 times in the past few years it’s been out. I think he reason I enjoy it so much is I feel it is very applicable to our time especially.
    Top 3 are
Tied for first; this and gene r cooks how not to be discouraged
Third: elder ballards “let us think straight
    Honorable mention brad Wilcox “grace”
    Make that six times.

I agree whole heartedly. Its hard to see family and friends slip carefully away from truths they once held dear and knew to be true. We all must be on guard to not fall prey to worldly ideas and fall into the trap of tolerance. If something was wrong 100 years ago or a thousand years ago, its still wrong today no matter how it gets branded, even if it gets branded as being 'Christian thought.'

I needed to hear this today. I was doing that thing where I try to stay "holy comparatively." It's really similar to the phenomenon of keeping your ambivalent friends. It doesn't give you pleasure and it drains you of a lot of energy.

It looks like I have a lot of places I can improve in. I like these kinds of talks. Great illustrations and thank you for sharing these ideals with us. I have wondered how many things I worship besides the Lord.
