Mahito is a kind of antagonist for a specific section of a story. He drives the protagonist to the absolute edge of despair only to be taken out in the most brutal way. Other examples I could bring up are Neferpitou, Ulquiorra Ciffer and old man Piccolo.
One thing I’ll note is that it’s prolly possible that Choso can hit the soul, since he is a separate soul incarnated into a new body which had a soul, like the CG players.
That’s not the same as having 2 souls in one body it’s the information of one person being overwritten by another so it doesn’t let those people attack souls
He is? I thought cursed wombs form their own bodies, like how dagon made his. He could probably inflict minor soul damage on the fact he was stuck talking to other disembodied wombs for centuries, but that's head canon.
@@binaryboopsva The Death Paintings are cursed objects that are ingested by humans. It’s pretty much the same as the CG players and Yuji/Sukuna except they incarnate as hybrids instead of just sorcerers.
I kinda of give it to Jogo low key he fought the two strongest dudes in the series and he did not get cooked instantly. His fire based attack would wear down Mahito curse energy and I personally think he has the more potent domain expansion. Burning insects, spawning fire plume, and a maximum technique would drop Mahito to his last legs to be honest. Also Jogo could heal pretty casually from serious damage.
Also can't forget about Jogo's speed. I do think that Mahito would be smart enough to just transfigure himself into something flame retardant and boosting it with Cursed Energy. Probably a good way to make Jogo waste his energy. Maximum Meteor is really powerful but it's also pretty slow from what I remember
Okay so nerds, the concepts stuff. Basically its a term that refers to nonobservational entities. This shi includes stuff like what we call electrons, neutrinos, gravitational forces, genes etc. These are things that the curse doesn't have to abide by. Technically its a great counter against Yuki as it literally bypasses her gravity shi from the black whole. However it didnt really work as im assuming they as in Kenny has to know the concept behind someones tech for the curse to even work, or the curse needs knowledge. Maybe he brought it out as it wouldnt be destroyed by his own gravitational tech as it would bypass it.
The biggest problem with fighting Jogo is simply raw speed. When Dagon saw Naobito move the first person he compared him to was Jogo. 15 finger Sukuna recently did some ridiculous things with speed, the same Sukuna that fought Jogo. He easily takes range to me and when it comes to cqc domain amp to cut out IT and gets back outside of his range. I also outright think Mahito loses in a domain clash.
@@CerotheDemonif mahito uses .2 he dies. Because their is jo way he oneshots jogo with that domain and while he can’t use his curse technique jogo kills him with maximum offense
@@CerotheDemonyou dont get it a 0.2 only works if your enemy either doesn’t have a domain or is vastly inferior to you because a 0.2 comes out at the same speed as a normal domain so if mahito casts a 0.2 Jogo will react with his own and destroy the 0.2
@@CerotheDemon0.2 domain is useless the only reason it was used was to shorten the amount of time the domain was active so in gojo case it wasn’t enough time for the humans to die or for mahito it wasn’t enough time to have to deal with sukana the casting time is still the same
Tamamo-no-mae might dawg Mahito. I don’t remember when Gege said this but I think he said he over used special grade and grade 1 in the start of JJK. So Gege’s idea of “special grade” might be way more powerful back in 0.
Yea definitely because Geto says to Yuta that there are 16 special grade cursed spirits even though in the series we know there’s definitely more than 16 special grade cursed spirits. So it seems like in Volume 0 Gege was planning on making special grade cursed spirits much stronger on average than they are in the main series, since in the main series basically every curse we met since the end of the goodwill arc was a special grade.
Jogo vs Mahito is more of a specialist vs a generalist. I got to say Jogo might win. Solely because he has no answer for maximum meteor and has higher endurance. (Note, mahito took more to damage which is durability, jogo was being dismembered brutally and exhausted endlessly but still got up)
Like Panda survive maximum meteor I can see Mahito transforming into a rabbit and finding underground to reach a region that the meteor is less effective
@@lutokill4784 the thing is Jogo was busy with Sukuna when he summoned the meteor. If Jogo was doing a 1v1 with Panda, Jogo could prevent Panda from fleeing while the meteor comes. I think he could do the same with Mahito of preventing him from running away until the meteor lands
@@luis41397 again Mahito turns into a worm Dig himself in the ground No heavy damage Mahito mobility is probably one of the best, he just don't use against Yuji because Yuji is a pain in the ass for him But against Mechamaru we see a glimpse of how sneak and versatile he can be Also Sukuna let them dodge the meteor only in the last minute when the attack was burning their asses And still they survived without a lot of damage Even being affected by the impact (Tho not by the meteor itself) And also Mahito CAN low his body curse energy in favor of another separate part to mislead his opponents and sneak his enemys, he did that to Yuji and Mechamaru, both that btw had counters to Mahito technique The only chance of Jogo is burning Mahito until he is low in curse energy but that is never a confirmed viable tactic, is just a "maybe would work? But is extremely impractical because this bitch has a lot of curse energy and recover his body in a almost self sufficient way, but maybe should work"
Here’s a thought, would Curse Spirit Naoya have passive soul knowledge? Since he’s literally been killed then transformed into a vengeful cursed spirit, meaning like Rika his soul has not passed on to the afterlife and his soul has taken on a new form, something he is aware of. So would that be enough to allow him to damage Mahito?
Its It's definitely a possibility But I think is not JUST knowing about soul, is knowing the shape of your soul, the delimitations of it I dont think that dying make you capable of that, because they dont really seem to have memories between the time that he dies and come back But is definitely possible
Even though Mahito is more intelligent than Rikka, I can’t actually think of any strategies he can use to defeat the queen of curses. In fact, she might just one shot Mahito since she’s that much more powerful than him, especially if you give her a domain expansion. It just doesn’t make sense for Mahito to win cause: “he’s intelligent tho”
I don't think domain helps anyway, if she just keep wailing on him, the domain would break from him taking damage instantly. Him touching her once is not gonna kill if Nanami survived it, and she's not exactly gonna stop from pain, so he's just done. The gap in strength is kinda comical between them too.
Mahito's technique targets the opponent's soul if im not mistaken. but does rika even have a soul to begin with? she was described as a special grade apparition in jjk0 so she prob still had it then, but rika now serves more as a shikigami. if thats the case then would mahito's IT or domain even work? she's basically just a bundle of curse energy so i dont see mahito's CT working on rika just like how it wont work against mahoraga
@@nugget6820 she kinda is tho, mahito got taken out by a todo and yuji, yuji was tire out and massively weakened (stated by Mahito himself). Rika held a stronger Yugi down with no effort, and later on scales to Heian era sorcerers in physical strength If you want to use the JJK 0 statement, gojo also saw her as a threat, which puts her in a different league from mahito. We also see her clash with a playful cloud Geto, who is a special grade sorcerer.
@@josephthompson4564 Rika with a soul is still surrounded by balled up CE that has to be unraveled, it would be like Mahito trying to mold a rubberband ball or ball or string instead of clay.
Rika is still a boundless ball of cursed energy it wouldn't really make any sense for Nanami to be protected by his cursed energy from IT yet Rika wouldn't even though she has inconceivably more cursed energy surrounding her than Nanami does @@josephthompson4564
Ngl considering he was evolving at a MUCH higher rate than the main Trio, I’d say that Mahito surviving Shibuya would see him throwing hands with Yuta lvl characters
@@charnalk5572 wrong, Kenny never needed Mahito, he just used him to speed it up, plus, Kenjaku could literally just be like "Yo wut up g, wanna fight sum strong sorcerer bruv?" and Mahito would say "Sure thing g." and activate the players himself.
@@charnalk5572 Mahito was basically dead when Kenny absorbed him, he was in no condition to use his own CT, that's probably why, though I do actually have a few theories: 1. You are right, Mahito just wouldn't be able to do it, or it would take too long to teach him. 2. I am right and Mahito was simply too weakened, so Kenny decided to just kill him and take the CT. 3. we are both wrong, and the one-time use is actually a restriction that massively enhances the CT 4. Just Kenny things also, the reason why he wouldn't tell them his plan is because they want to wipe out humanity and replace them, but having all of humanity turn into a giant uncontrollable curse would destroy any hopes of creating a cursed spirit civilization, especially since Kenjaku is pretending to be some random human that wants to help the curses, him having some ultimate plan would make them not trust him.
@@charnalk5572 I feel like if he just told Mahito about the culling games, but not the purpose of it, Mahito would be down, after all, all he has to do is activate the players whilst Kenny does the barrier stuff, I'm sure it wouldn't take long to teach Mahito how to interact with the barriers with a remote activation of Idle Transfiguration. I have a question for you actually, do you think Mahito would do well in the culling games? Because Mahito at full power was severely weakened by the time he got to that point, but a fully healthy Mahito that survived, and then went on to survive for the (I assume) 19 days until the start of the Culling Games would be pretty damn strong, much stronger than he was in Shibuya at least, and I assume he would straight up be the strongest curse ever, surpassing both Jogo and Naoya, and possibly surpassing Awakened Rika.
I think all the death painting brothers could hurt mahito's soul since they share their body with their vessels souls, just like the reincarnated players, not that I think it would change the outcome of their battle.
@@hamzy1989 nah mahito still washes, Not to hate but yuji literally needed a maximum output black flash to just take him out in that form, Meanwhile just one normal punch from yuji literally severely damaged choso mahitos final form is also 200% Stronger, Faster and durable than his base, He doesnt need eyes instead just senses cursed energy which is faster and he can still use idle transfiguration on this form he created a mountain sized crater just by smashing the ground, His strength is still above or on par with culling games yuji and just to mention if yuji didnt land the maximum blackflash, It stated mahito would rip him to shreds stated by gege even no domain mahito washes
I think for the Ganesh curse, it literally removes whatever obstacle is in it's way. Yuki only won cause she was so op that it wasn't comprehendable. The soldiers stood in kenjaku's way, he removed them. Mahito has a domain barrier? Nope. Mahito shot his lil drill hand at it? I don't think so. Yuki kicked a ball with more mass than it could even understand? That worked
Essentially one of the explanations given in the chapter is that, because she has a lot of VIRTUAL mass, it is far harder (and probably slower) to target her nearly instant OHKO because a cursed technique does have limits in how "big" a thing it can target is, otherwise Kenny could target any obstacle that is an universal constant and be done with it, or it may take more time/cursed energy/knowledge for the removing obstacles CT
Sukuna, Rika, Mahoraga, and the Concept curse win. The other disaster curses, choso, naoya, and kurorushi make Mahito struggle or use domain. All the other curses get stomped unless I'm forgetting someone.
@@SasukeUchiha-vb2vy yeah, it's super vague but I'm giving it the pass, as Kenjaku seems to think it's really strong. Meanwhile Kenjaku absorbed Mahito and didn't even try to use him.
If Naoya is able to keep up mach 3 there genuinely is not a chance for mahito to catch him in even a .2 second domain. Naoya can travel over 60 of mahito's domains a second (approximating 50 foot diameter) .2 just ain't fast enough to enclose him in a barrier
On my first reading I was completely stumped by Ganesha and kinda just went, "It just works" But its ability isn't too hard to understand. It is explained that Ganesha can remove obstacles and entangle concepts to its target. That likely means Ganesha can basically deem something an obstacle and remove it. It didn't work on Yuki because her mass surpasses concepts, but Ganesha killed the US military by removing them as an obstacle between itself and the general. Essentially, nothing stands in Ganesha's way. We do know that this is not all powerful though, as Yuki was able to imbue so much mass into Garuda that it overwhelmed Obstacle Removal and killed it in one blow. It is safe to assume that there has to be a vast difference in CE output to bypass Ganesha, as it is still a special grade and Yuki one shot it. So, knowing that it can remove Mahito as an obstacle, the question is can Mahito counter with his CE output? Personally I think it's a stretch to say Mahito could do it. Maybe with his transformation he has a shot, but it's not looking good. As for domain expansion, I imagine Ganesha can remove the barrier as an obstacle and completely shatter it. However, if Mahito does .2, Ganesha may not be able to react. It never demonstrates any significant speed feats but it was easily taken down by Yuki before it got a chance to fight. I don't think Ganesha can react to a .2 second domain expansion. I give the fight to Mahito, but high diff. If he doesn't wise up to Ganesha's technique, he's done for.
I’ll say ronin one thing you and operator forgot about jogo is that jogo has domain amplification, which can helps him neutralize Mahito’s .2 domain and can neutralize idle transfiguration.
I think I finally understand Ganesha’s cursed technique! It says it can negate concepts, and remove obstacles. We see it does not innately float, as it stands on the ground with Kenjaku when summoned. Maybe it can negate anything it can conceptualize (gravity, light, fire, ice), but the rule is enforced on it too. So it couldn’t target Yuki’s mass, because without mass it would dissolve into nothingness. Or Yuki’s control over mass imply overrides Ganesha’s (similar to how domains clash, techniques manipulating the same concept might clash). So it couldn’t negate Mahito’s technique, because it also has a soul as a cursed spirit
A little issue I see with the VS Naoya part is how you said "Mahito can choose if he gets damage from the domain" when it is specified that domains (and domain esque abilities like simple domain explicitly working and WASHING Mahito's ass) cancel IT's defense mechanism just like it cancels limitless. Plus the fact that human Naoya was constantly speedblitzing a well rested Yuji AFTER Mahito's fight (including ISBODK [Jesus what a fucking weird name]) should be enough to heavily outscale him over Mahito, but other than that if he gets hit or cocky Naoya gets packed up LMAO
Mahito v Jogo. Or about the .2 Domain in general. I figured that’s just the amount of time the opponent was cast in the domain for. Hand signs are still relevant to cast a domain. Iirc, the natural disasters were just surprised Gojo cast his domain with civilians in the way. The domain itself lasted only .2 seconds & Gojo noticeably crossed his fingers prior. Mahito vs Yuji & Todo. Mahito essentially tricked them. He signed his hands to initiate the domain. That’s what they were responding too. The thing was, Mahito already cast the domain Prior to that action with the hand signs in his mouth. He was able to do so because if his CT rearranging his soul to allow his D.E to go off. It’s pretty much as fast as a normal D.E cast, it’s just his CT allows him to do it from any part of his body, including his mouth. Wether Jogo is fast enough to detect this, or see through this, I’m not sure. It depends on if you think Mahito would fare just as well as Jogo did v 15 finger Sukuna. Mahito never actually tested Sukunas combat ability. No one does lmao. This is why Jogo gets the shit end of the stick. The difference between him and Gojo/Sukuna or anyone vs them are quite immeasurable in JJK standards. If you’ve read the recent chapters you’d probably know that Gojo could end the world if he ever had a bad day and no one but post Sukuna/Mahoraga could do anything about it & vice versa. I think Jogo would take it in a 1v1 most of the time. Just fly and spam meteor. But that doesn’t take away for the actual issue when it comes to Mahitos D.E if he manages to pop it off first. But you can contest a domain if you’re in a domain as per Gojo V Jogo. Jogo just didn’t try against Gojo in shibuya because IV is nuts and he was going to lose anyways lol. As for mahitos IT, the basic form it can somewhat be negated by simple domain? I forget the term but they used to neg Gojos infinity so that’s also a thing too. It didn’t work in that case after Gojo realized but if Mahito and Jogo are relative it should. Fuck, that was a lot
ngl I think Rika is unironically speed blitzing and 1 shotting him, even if domain opens, she is basically infinite in cursed energy and will just damage him enough to break the domain almost instantly. If nanami can survive 1 touch, I think rika can. Like final form Mahito is around todo and yugi's level, slightly above but still relative in speed and power, they did beat him after all. Rika is relative or stronger than supressed Yuta who absolutely steamrolled a stronger Yugi who wasn't super worn down (According to mahito himself) A key point is that the 0.2 domain isn't unreactable, Todo actually does react to it, he was just slightly too slow, a much faster character should be able to react, the reason no one reacted to Gojo doing it is that his domain literally stuns you, mahito's lets him touch you, which if you are quick you can sever your own body part (almost no cost for special grade cursed spirits) or just tank the hit and counter with your own domain, If mahito uses a 0.2 domain vs someone like Jogo, if that touch doesn't 1 shot him, jogo opens his own domain, Mahito's closes and the fight is over. 0.2 is not a free win card, it's really risky, which is probably why Gojo never tried is vs Sukuna for instance.
Hmmm... a billion is alot, but we've also never seen a flyhead actually demonstrate the ability to attack anything. It'd take a while, but I think Mahito is taking out a billion over the course of a couple years
40:37 well it manipulates concepts and if u see with the soldiers it lifts them into the air so it could be concepts that break the laws of physics like bending the air to throw ur opponent up or turning the ground into liquid so they cant run or making but u may ask why did yukis mass attack not work and to that i say i assume cursed techniques and tools arent able to be manipulated seeing as yukis worm thingy was able to rip right through it that or Ganesh(or how ever u spell it) wasnt able to perceive the attack meaning if something is too fast he wont be able to react to it in time and i doubt mahito has any abilities fast enough to cause the same reaction and since he can control the concepts of certain things i doubt mahito can even get close to Ganesh (this is just my take on it after reading the chapters Ganesh was in and talking to friends about it) mahito still wins tho unless its can control the concept of opening a domain which i doubt
I think Cursed Spirit Naoya might have a much better chance than you might think. Projection Sorcery lets you move 24 times in one second, making 0.2 seconds around 4-5 movements Nayoa can do as Mahito expands his domain. I can definitely see him having the necessary reaction time AND speed to back it up in order to counter with his own domain, and from there if he’s still able to use his technique he outspeeds and beats Mahito. Todo and Yuji tried to counter Mahito’s 0.2 domain, but the problem was Todo wasn’t fast enough even though he had a stellar reaction time. Cursed Spirit Naoya, who is faster than base Naoya, should be used to fast reactions and have the necessary speed to pull out his own domain.
the concept ct might work like removing the concept of grativy to make people float but is unable to remove the concept of yukis mass because her mass didnt actually exist
Curse naoya would absolutely destroy Mahito. Curse Naoya easily defeated a post-awakening Maki, who, while injured, was able to kill everyone in the Zenin clan with relative ease. The hei contains four grade one sorcerers and two semi-grade one's. That immediately puts her far above Dagon, who was struggling against two grade ones and one semi-grade one even in his domain. Curse naoya comes along and effortlessly defeats this maki. Curse Naoya is way too fast for Mahito to hit, Mahito would only be able to somwhat keep up if he entered Instant Spirit Body of Distorted Killing, but then he wouldn't be able to transfigure himself. One more thing about a 0.2 domain, Yuji was able to partially react to Mahito's domain before the sure hit effect took place, and Naoya is definitely way faster than that Yuji. If Mahito did the 0.2 domain, Naoya could probably run through Naoya before the domain hit him. Naoya is just too fast.
I honestly believe that idle transfiguration could even effect curses and or curse wombs. He can still beat most the characters, he's just not gonna be one shotting them with idle transfiguration
The Ganesha curse spirit would beat Mahito due to overwriting the obstacle of Idle Transfiguration. The concept of Idle Transfiguration is the soul, so by bypassing the concept of controlling the soul, the spirit could overwrite it and completely overpower Mahito on a technique level. It would get beaten physically though.
I think Rika would beat Mahito even faster than Sukuna would. Yes, she has the intelligence of a burnt piece of toast, but even a burnt piece of toast could kill Mahito if given the amount of power Rika has. Just like with Sukuna, the gap in power between her and Mahito is just too massive to imagine her losing or even taking much damage at all imo. (the reason I think a fight between Rika and Mahito would be over even faster than one between Sukuna and Mahito is because Sukuna would probably play around with Mahito for a bit, whereas Rika would go straight for the kill as soon as Mahito so much as pokes her).
Question for everyone in the comments. What would Mahito need to gain in order to equal to Gojo and Sukuna? Honestly with how deadly his domain is I think he just needs an open domain, more cursed energy, and domain amp (which Kenjaku might have taught him, but he would be bad at it). All he needs to do is land his sure hit and he’s doing major unhealable damage. All he’d need is blow off Sukana/Gojo’s hand they can no longer open a domain
I think he would need way more curse energy or be more efficient in using it. Sukuna and Gojo are so strong because they can spam overpowered moves like Domain Expansion over and over again without even trying.
@@no-sk3sr That is true, but what I’m saying is Mahito’s technique if it lands is a one hit win on any character. So he doesn’t need to have more cursed energy to get off the multiple domains, he just has to have his first domain land. Like how Sukuna’s first domain landed on Gojo yet the fight continued, the fight would have ended there against a much weaker Mahito because you can’t heal soul damage and he could deal enough damage to win afterward if he can’t get the kill off
@@nerdcorner2680I don't know if it's a one hit kill since mahito tanked one idle transfiguration, but the biggest problem is that if he gets in a domain tug of war just like in the sukuna vs gojo fight, he wouldn't be able to use idle trasfiguration while he is in the tug of war, and without idle transfiguration, he would be beaten to death in a hand to hand fight against gojo or sukuna.
@@nerdcorner2680 it's not a one hit kill though, Nanami was literally able to tank it and he's not even close to people like Gojo and Sukuna, not to mention Gojo can't be touched by Mahito and he can one shot him with a Hollow Purple so I think he would need a new cursed technique in addition to way more cursed energy to match Gojo and Sukuna. His cursed technique is just not even close to as OP as Gojo and Sukuna's
Yuji, was sorta able to keep up with Instinct Spirit body of distorted killing Mahito. Then Yuji after that couldn’t keep up with Nayoa Jogo did take out his dead and while he was sorta slower he was still the fastest hero at that point
But Naoya is stronger, just has too much of an ego, also I’m sure that Naoya could escape Mahito’s effective domain range before it’s fully realized without fully accelerating, so if they were fully bloodlusted Naoya would win, agree on Rika but there are some things said wrong about Rika has been stated to have Limitless CE and ever changing, thought you should’ve added that
A distinction needs to be made between having a soul inside you and being AWARE of that soul connection. People like Yuji, Angel, and Panda, all have statements and portrayal that point towards this awareness of the soul. People like Ryu, Choso and Kashimo, do not. It’s even stated BY Angel that those guys might not even be aware of the souls they are suppressing.
I'm thinking, either Megumi can damage Mahito or Mahoraga is directly inmune to it. Because if one assumes that shikigamis have souls, then Fushiguro's body has more than one soul that he actually can split. But Junpei was transfigured, so shikigamis shouldn't have souls, so every Ten Shadows shikigami and Rikka are inmune to Idle Transfiguration, right?
Mahito's domain expansion is a disaster, idk how you can possibly counter it, since it's basically domain that one-shots you as soon as you've been captured in it.
Jogo couldn't react to Gojo's domain cuz the latter is faster than the other , or maybe he didn't have a simple domain ? That doesn't prove how Jogo wouldn't react to Mahito's 0.2 at all. The 0.2 expansion isn't faster than a regular one in any sort. It just spans for a very short period of time. It doesn't allow you to just ignore a domain battle either. Todo got hit cuz Mahito's domain expanded and his technique activated at the same time which is not what usually happens. A domain is activated but the target can still pull out a counter domain technique BEFORE the technique imbued gets activated. My point is that if you believe Mahito's 0.2 domain can blitz someone , his regular domain should blitz them as well
Ronin‼️‼️‼️ I’m tryna see a tier list from you. I’m 100% sure everyone would like to see you rank all the important characters in Jujutsu Kaisen off of powers and abilities.
I honestly think Jogo wipes the floor with Mahito. He himself states that he only *considers* Mahito their leader because of his potential power. Even true form Mahito is just slower than Jogo, Yuji was able to completely track and react to Mahito. Imagine what Naoya and Jogo would do as characters of comparable speed. Jogo straight up would wear down Mahito so unbelievably fast because of the constant assaults do to the difference in speed.
Cursed Womb Naoya was able to harm awakened Maki enough to gravely wound her and temporarily keep her out of the fight and she couldn’t even react until she awakened AGAIN. Unless you guys for some reason would think Mahito and Maki of similar durability; Naoya is blowing Mahito to tiny pieces before he can even transform or use IT.
a 0.2 second domain isn't going to help mahito against jogo. To begin with, the 0.2 second domain isn't actually a faster domain deployment, it's the exact same speed as any other sure hit kill domain, the idea behind that type of domain use is to get a short burst of the sure hit for whatever reason. If mahito were to attempt this tactic, jogo would just open his domain and start a clash.
one thing that was missssed is just that kuroruchi (the cockroach special grade) has a domain expansion, we dont see it tho cuz its broken in the same clash with yuta , rue and the granite blast guy
Ganesha spirit's curse ability is Conceptual Manipulation. It lets one manipulate abstract concepts without affecting the universe. It has non-combat and dominant applications.
Ronin, I think every shonen series has that one character that's the equivalent of a power spike for later on in the series. Naruto had Itachi and Pain for Naruto and Sasuke. Bleach had Grimmjow and Byakuya One Piece had Lucci and Doflamingo... And for Jujutsu Kaisen's case, as an indicator that the upcoming threats are gonna be scarier and far more horrifying from onward, Mahito is the perfect example of Jujutsu Kaisen's "boss fight." Once you see that bastard on screen, your favorite characters are in danger.
32:30 The only reason as to why Mahito was able to pull of the 0.2 domain and final form was because of the buffs from his black flash, he can’t do it in his base (from what I’m aware of)
One problem I had with the Jogo section was that they neglected to mention his and Mahito’s decent raw speed gap and domain amplification acting as a good counter to Mahito’s domain given that he doesn’t pull a 0.2 This goes with Kurorushi too. You guys didn’t really even bother considering the fact Kurorushi was actually more powerful than Base Mahito physically and was faster too. It doesn’t mean that it’ll win but it’s still something to consider when that Bug somehow contested more Base Yuta than Demon God Yuji who should be stronger 120% Shibuya Yuji. The same Yuji keeping up with Mahito in nearly every depart, Yuta just straight casually caught up to Yuji with zero issues. If that doesn’t speak to the speed gap, I don’t know what does. For Naoya part. I do agree that Mahito might win their domain clash, but in time span that the tug of war is happening, Naoya could just speed blitz, freeze and hit Mahito repeated? Human Naoya can already casually speed blitz a stronger Yuji than the one that fought Mahito and it’s not the like the inside of their domains aren’t big enough to give Naoya room to zoom around. Naoya could literally wail on Mahito non stop while he’s trying to keep his domain in tact, in that scenario I can only really see Naoya coming out on top.
ngl i dont think we reading the same manga isnt naobito stated to be the fastest sorcerer other than gojo and jogo is faster than him stated by dagon he i dont think mahito would even hit him once
Not sure if this was touched on in the video but if mahito uses transfiguration too much he would run out of cursed energy and ultimately die Okay they said it as i commented lol
I find it interesting how there was more contention with jogo v mahito compared to naoya v mahito when naoya and jogo are relatvie imo For speed, curse naoya > maki ~ naoya > yuji ~ mahito For speed with jogo, he’s relative to naobito. If you want to use naobito as the fastest sorcerer alive statment (which in itself is debatable) then you can say naobito ~ jogo > human naoya. Since its stated toji could destroy the zenin clan, naobito is at MOST maki/toji speed. This line of scaling is based on statements and is less definitive than cursed naoya’s direct line of scaling. But lets say for the sake of argument that in speed: jogo ~ maki >= cursed naoya. For durability, they both just scale arbitrarily well below hanami, as kamo states cursed naoya barely compares to hanami in durability. For domain, cursed naoya’s domain is stated to make his technique more “precise” which you could argue means its more refined than jogo’s, but lets say they are even more or less. Lastly, I think cursed naoya has better AP feats. Naoya’s best AP feat is hurting maki, who shoudl scale in durability above awakened yuji and above hanami, so naoya AP ~ maki > awakened yuji > yuji that fought hanami ~ hanami. In contrast, jogo’s fire has to scale hanami, as its stated that jogo only beats hanami due to advantage in cursed technique match up, implying jogo can hurt hanami but is relative. Overall, both of them should have a pretty similar match up against mahito where they both blitz mahito and maybe clash domains. The only difference is naoya would do more damage quicker to run mahito out of cursed energy.
Bro i think you downplaying mahito, It was mentioned his final form is 200% stronger, faster and more durable than his base he doesnt need eyes instead senses cursed energy instead, Which is faster And not to mention him smashing the ground alone made a gigantic sized crater, He is definitely stronger than even culling game yuji
@@pomi2031 Mahito's 200% form doubles his strength and durability, but we see in his fight against Yuji that it doesn't change his speed as Yuji is still able to react to 200% Mahito. This means that Mahito's speed does't change. Seeing cursed energy isn't a feat for speed scaling. Every character in the verse aside from 2-3 relevant characters can see cursed energy, but they are still speed blitzed. We see this with Naoya blitzing Yuji and Choso, Naobito blitzes Dagon, Sukuna blitzes Jogo, etc. Seeing cursed energy doesn't make you be able to tag characters that otherwise blitz you, its just the standard ability of every sorcerer to predict a character's movements slightly better. Mahito creating a crater in the ground isn't particularly impressive for the JJK verse. In the anime you can have Jogo melting entire buildings into magma. Since Jogo's AP has to scale to Hanami, that means Yuji and Todo are already on that that level of AP. I think the confusion here comes from the difference between AP and destructive capacity. Just because a character can do a larger attack that covers more area doesn't mean that a smaller attack can't do the same amount of damage, its just more focused on a given point. Even if you don't like anime feats because you think they are inconsistent, we see Sukuna punch Yuji through several buildings and Yuji survives just fine. Mahito's AP breaking the ground simply isn't a feat that matters. As for the statement that Mahito is stronger than culling game yuji, it really depends on which Yuji we are talking about. If we are talking about the Yuji that is relative in speed to Maki, then no he would speed blitz and instantly kill mahito. As I said before maki speed scaling goes something like: Yuji that fights Sukuna ~ Maki > Cursed Naoya > naoya > Yuji ~ Mahito If we are talking about start of culling games yuji, then that is more debatable depending on how much stronger you think 200% Mahito is.
WHAT A GREAT VID RONIN, I HOPE IT BLOWS UP, ID LIKE TO SEE SOME EPISODE REVIEWS THAT COMPARE YOUR OPINION OM THE FAITHFULLNESS OF THE ADAPTATION. THAT COULD MAKE FOR GOOD CONTENT
Saying Jogo loses to Mahito is just massive capping. Mahito can't compare in the slightest when it comes to speed. Jogo can just fly around and spam aoe attacks while Mahito is busy regenerating to death. And his final form got one shotted by a single "maximus output" black flash from Yuji. At this point Jogo has way more fire power than Yuji has with his entire arsenal. Not only that, Jogo knows domain amplification, which ignores cursed techniques. He could just beat him to death with shear speed without having to worry about hurting Mahito's soul. If Jogo initiates a domain he autowins the fight. There's no way Mahito can survive Jogo's domain and Jogo is going to win if they're going to clash, he's both more skilled and older, and his domain is simply stronger. The .2 seconds domain does nothing for him, it's just the time that the domain's effect takes place in, opening it still takes time and Jogo can just clash with it. Saying that he couldn't do anything against Gojo's .2 seconds domain means nothing because it's literally the strongest domain in the series, if anyone else would've opened a domain in response Gojo would've just opened his full domain and kill them all. Even if you argue that Jogo can't do anything about Mahito's .2 domain, it's not like it can even one shot Jogo, Todo just got his arm fucked up and cut it. I'm sure we can all agree that Mahito isn't on the level of 8-9 fingers Sukuna, so why are we suddenly saying he could beat Jogo? I'd say Jogo wins low-mid diff most of the time just because his domain is and autowin and he also knows domain amplification. Mahito lost to Yuji and Todo, sure, with extreme diff, but Jogo can no diff both of them like he did with Naobito (who's way faster than both Todo and Yuji) Nanami and Maki
Mahito is a kind of antagonist for a specific section of a story. He drives the protagonist to the absolute edge of despair only to be taken out in the most brutal way. Other examples I could bring up are Neferpitou, Ulquiorra Ciffer and old man Piccolo.
Facts I agree he was removed from the story at a good time

One thing I’ll note is that it’s prolly possible that Choso can hit the soul, since he is a separate soul incarnated into a new body which had a soul, like the CG players.

Mind explaining why?
Which is why Mahito would absolutely use a .2 instead of clashing.

Gensesha sounds so OP but we couldnt see the full power or application of its CT, because Yuki wanted NONE of those problems

Mahito mobility is probably one of the best, he just don't use against Yuji because Yuji is a pain in the ass for him

Also Sukuna let them dodge the meteor only in the last minute when the attack was burning their asses
And still they survived without a lot of damage
Even being affected by the impact (Tho not by the meteor itself)
And also Mahito CAN low his body curse energy in favor of another separate part to mislead his opponents and sneak his enemys, he did that to Yuji and Mechamaru, both that btw had counters to Mahito technique
The only chance of Jogo is burning Mahito until he is low in curse energy but that is never a confirmed viable tactic, is just a "maybe would work? But is extremely impractical because this bitch has a lot of curse energy and recover his body in a almost self sufficient way, but maybe should work"

Here’s a thought, would Curse Spirit Naoya have passive soul knowledge? Since he’s literally been killed then transformed into a vengeful cursed spirit, meaning like Rika his soul has not passed on to the afterlife and his soul has taken on a new form, something he is aware of.

@@charnalk5572
Mahito was basically dead when Kenny absorbed him, he was in no condition to use his own CT, that's probably why, though I do actually have a few theories:
1. You are right, Mahito just wouldn't be able to do it, or it would take too long to teach him.
2. I am right and Mahito was simply too weakened, so Kenny decided to just kill him and take the CT.
3. we are both wrong, and the one-time use is actually a restriction that massively enhances the CT
4. Just Kenny things
also, the reason why he wouldn't tell them his plan is because they want to wipe out humanity and replace them, but having all of humanity turn into a giant uncontrollable curse would destroy any hopes of creating a cursed spirit civilization, especially since Kenjaku is pretending to be some random human that wants to help the curses, him having some ultimate plan would make them not trust him.
@@charnalk5572
I feel like if he just told Mahito about the culling games, but not the purpose of it, Mahito would be down, after all, all he has to do is activate the players whilst Kenny does the barrier stuff, I'm sure it wouldn't take long to teach Mahito how to interact with the barriers with a remote activation of Idle Transfiguration.

10:49 im in the thick of it everybody knows💀
🗣🗣🗣‼️‼️🔥
On my first reading I was completely stumped by Ganesha and kinda just went, "It just works"
But its ability isn't too hard to understand.
I think this explanation is spot on. Kinda an OP ability, only high level sorcerers are gonna have the tools to contend with it.
I’ll say ronin one thing you and operator forgot about jogo is that jogo has domain amplification, which can helps him neutralize Mahito’s .2 domain and can neutralize idle transfiguration.
14:35 Choso should be able to hurt Mahito's soul because he's a vessel like Yuji

@@damondgreen2239 No it's because he's a cursed womb. Sukuna only provided protection against Mahito's ability
The Ganesha cursed spirits ability is explained really well by the initial fan translation 40:17

Bro there is no universe where Mahito can beat Rika or Cursed Naoya
ngl I think Rika is unironically speed blitzing and 1 shotting him, even if domain opens, she is basically infinite in cursed energy and will just damage him enough to break the domain almost instantly.
If nanami can survive 1 touch, I think rika can.
Like final form Mahito is around todo and yugi's level, slightly above but still relative in speed and power, they did beat him after all.
Rika is relative or stronger than supressed Yuta who absolutely steamrolled a stronger Yugi who wasn't super worn down (According to mahito himself)
A key point is that the 0.2 domain isn't unreactable, Todo actually does react to it, he was just slightly too slow, a much faster character should be able to react, the reason no one reacted to Gojo doing it is that his domain literally stuns you, mahito's lets him touch you, which if you are quick you can sever your own body part (almost no cost for special grade cursed spirits) or just tank the hit and counter with your own domain, If mahito uses a 0.2 domain vs someone like Jogo, if that touch doesn't 1 shot him, jogo opens his own domain, Mahito's closes and the fight is over.
0.2 is not a free win card, it's really risky, which is probably why Gojo never tried is vs Sukuna for instance.
0.2 domain isn't the speed of the domain. It's the amount of time he can open the domain, it doesn't help him against jogo

Ngl rika smaking mahito around

The concept of Idle Transfiguration is the soul, so by bypassing the concept of controlling the soul, the spirit could overwrite it and completely overpower Mahito on a technique level. It would get beaten physically though.
Choso from the Kenny fight is giving Mahito a high difficulty fight.
I am 100% sure I don’t recognize this channel but this guys voice sounds SO familiar. I know for sure I’ve heard it before
jogo slams, naoya curse slams, rika slams, sukuna slams.
Naoya and jogo are getting neg
Maybe Ganesh canceled the concept of gravity against the soldiers.
I think Gege handled it very poorly tho.
Still waiting for that Miwa vs JJK video Ronin
Then Yuji after that couldn’t keep up with Nayoa
Jogo did take out his dead and while he was sorta slower he was still the fastest hero at that point
41:25 mind you it's virtual mass but I guess it still would be mass huh.
It’s even stated BY Angel that those guys might not even be aware of the souls they are suppressing.
if the Ganesha curst sprits statement is taken literally it would mean it would be low outer
Dear Mahito fans...this yo man 🤨? 25:42
Miwa >>> Mahito, kenjaku
Kashimo >> Sukuna
Kusakabe >> Kenjaku

I hope one day Ronin makes why Vergil Vs Sung Jin-Woo isn't close
47:00 Does Rika even have a soul? Like without being fully manifested.
My point is that if you believe Mahito's 0.2 domain can blitz someone , his regular domain should blitz them as well
Ronin‼️‼️‼️
I’m tryna see a tier list from you. I’m 100% sure everyone would like to see you rank all the important characters in Jujutsu Kaisen off of powers and abilities.
My best guess is the Ganesha curse does the same thing as a sure hit domain without a domain
Tamamo no mae wasn't used up on uzumaki, geto pulled it out so it wouldn't get used in the uzumaki. Here's hoping Kenny pulls it out at some point 👀
That thing you dident know can probebly reverse conceps so it switched gravity to those soldiers
I guess the elephant removes "objects" means it removes the concept in the way of it or that it bypasses them in its way?
a 0.2 second domain isn't going to help mahito against jogo.
He doesn't have a domain, if you reread chapter 179 you'll see he only breaks Uro, Ishigoori, and Yuta's domain
You read that chapter very wrong gamg

Ganesha spirit's curse ability is Conceptual Manipulation. It lets one manipulate abstract concepts without affecting the universe. It has non-combat and dominant applications.
ok consider, mahito vs naoya?
he just transforms into a BIG net and catches him and THAN domains
Ronin, I think every shonen series has that one character that's the equivalent of a power spike for later on in the series.
Naruto had Itachi and Pain for Naruto and Sasuke.
Bleach had Grimmjow and Byakuya
One Piece had Lucci and Doflamingo...
Surely if Manitoba did a 0.2 domain expansion and it didn’t kill Jogo then Jogo could just open up his domain right after and win?
Mahito turns the kid into a weapon to kill the second curse.
32:30 The only reason as to why Mahito was able to pull of the 0.2 domain and final form was because of the buffs from his black flash, he can’t do it in his base (from what I’m aware of)
One problem I had with the Jogo section was that they neglected to mention his and Mahito’s decent raw speed gap and domain amplification acting as a good counter to Mahito’s domain given that he doesn’t pull a 0.2
This goes with Kurorushi too.
Ronin can we get your top 10 favorite jjk characters
I think I have a fun idea for a topic which jjk characters could survive a nuclear bomb.
ngl i dont think we reading the same manga isnt naobito stated to be the fastest sorcerer other than gojo and jogo is faster than him stated by dagon he i dont think mahito would even hit him once
I think you're reading the wrong manga
It's the otherway around
Naobito was stated to be faster
people forget the manga states that naobito was faster with both arms. Not the case after he lost it.
Not sure if this was touched on in the video but if mahito uses transfiguration too much he would run out of cursed energy and ultimately die
Okay they said it as i commented lol
Wasn't it stated that Mahito is comparable to 3 finger Sukuna while Jogo was 8 or 9?
I find it interesting how there was more contention with jogo v mahito compared to naoya v mahito when naoya and jogo are relatvie imo
For speed, curse naoya > maki ~ naoya > yuji ~ mahito
For speed with jogo, he’s relative to naobito.
Bro i think you downplaying mahito, It was mentioned his final form is 200% stronger, faster and more durable than his base
he doesnt need eyes instead senses cursed energy instead, Which is faster
And not to mention him smashing the ground alone made a gigantic sized crater, He is definitely stronger than even culling game yuji
As I said before maki speed scaling goes something like:
Yuji that fights Sukuna ~ Maki > Cursed Naoya > naoya > Yuji ~ Mahito
If we are talking about start of culling games yuji, then that is more debatable depending on how much stronger you think 200% Mahito is.
Didn't know eso had cake like that in the manga 💀
Technically speaking if the other two brothers get to fight together Choso should get back up from his favorite/strongest/only remaining brother
WHAT A GREAT VID RONIN, I HOPE IT BLOWS UP, ID LIKE TO SEE SOME EPISODE REVIEWS THAT COMPARE YOUR OPINION OM THE FAITHFULLNESS OF THE ADAPTATION. THAT COULD MAKE FOR GOOD CONTENT
Yuta next?
Crazy theory if gojo loses he’s gonna become a cursed object like sukuna and yuji finna eat him
Saying Jogo loses to Mahito is just massive capping.
