These two videos are invaluable for those of us on minor burners and concentrators. I'm really happy to see how you pulled the points as well as complete the whole ornament. Wonderful, you sure have inspired me to give this a try.
Hey Jeannie, thanks so much for the great tutorial - its almost as if you made it just for me :-) I've recently bought a GTT Cricket, and run it on an M15 - and am experimenting with boro and am left-handed too! I love the camera position - its as if I'm literally looking over your shoulder. My only quibble would be if you can find some way of getting the sound recorder away from the torch and pumping up the volume - as the Part Two was really hard to hear. But other than that, its a great tutorial and I can't wait to go and play with my new tubing. Thanks again!
Cool! Lefty's are the best, right?!? Haha! I hope you get it down - - just takes a little bit of practice and the hardest part I had was melting down the color since it's much denser/harder than the clear glass.
Thank you for your great video! I have one question for you. Did I miss something? You mention leaving a hole in the bottom of the ornament. How do you make that hole? Thanks.
For boro glass, yes you can do that. But ultimately, you would probably want to anneal your ornaments just like any other glass - - but you can batch anneal a bunch at a time. :)
Thank you for a great video... I too, like Speedingpullet, have a GTT Cricket. Due to setup my studio once I have moved house. Just have oxygen concentrator to purchase and kiln, then all systems goes :)) Just wondering what type of work surface you are using? Again thanks for great video.

Yes, I blow out the hole at about 10:50 on the video - maybe you missed it? :)
Wonderful tutorial! Quick question- you can leave it to cool on table and not in kiln or plate warmer?
For boro glass, yes you can do that. But ultimately, you would probably want to anneal your ornaments just like any other glass - - but you can batch anneal a bunch at a time. :)

Again thanks for great video.
I have a work table that I applied ceramic tiles to the top, just like flooring with mortar and grout. Works great!
Great idea! :)
Many thanks for replying, it is very much appreciated.
