Yes, Alan Ross is the only one that haves the scientific graph that I know of. Every speaker he has recomended. One I've bought over the years? He knows what he's talking about!!!! I could tell a difference on the x20. Great review as always!

Happy to know that now there's gonna be a nice firmware update already waiting for me 💪 Never had a boom box speaker of any kind before and the best bass I've experienced out of a portable speaker is the Charge 5 so hoping this X20 absolutely blows me away 💯
When this update was released i was pretty busy for a few days and didn't have the time or the focus to relax and tell the difference between 2.4.0 and 2.4.2 but two days ago i sat again and i can tell you there is a very significant difference. It is SO MUCH MORE pleasant to my ears, i wouldn't know how to describe it it is not better instrument separation but there is a rebalancing of the frequency extension and the low end goes a little bit deeper. In all honesty i even had the chance to compare it last night to a (Non-WiFi) JBL Boombox 3 and if they were close before, after some direct side to side comparison now i prefer the X20 with 2.4.2, the BB3 only beats it and bit a tiny, tiny bit is on lower bass extension, but as a whole i like how this one sounds better now.
Ya now that I've had more time I listen to the new update I think they did a way good job and made it sound way better in all frequency and it doesn't get to harsh at full blast anymore either
Sounds really great. I just bought the W-king D20, sounds pretty good but I don't know how to upgrade to the recently released firmware 2.4.2 using the W-king App. Is it done via Bluetooth or Typ-C cable? Help please.

I agree 100 percent now that I've been testing and playing with it more, they definitely made it sound better, hopefully they keep improving it and one day it may be completely tied with the bb3
@Jagistreviews I have 2 to test so that's how I was able to till a bit of a difference, but if I had to pick one to carry between the Boombox and the X20 it will be the x20

So I don't have the bang max one pretty soon and I can test them againts each other, but from what I have seen on other videos your going to get a better sound and bass and loudness from the wking x20 but only by a little, I'll try to get a bang max soon

Treble extension improved a lil, the midrange is slightly lower along with some mid bass for some deep bass extension

How to update. I cannot update form Application W-King
That's the only way I know how to update it is through the app
maybe you got the d20 the one with mic, its impossible to update, get a no mic version
After moving around the video, am I the only one who notices very little to no difference?
Like I said there isn't a lit different, it sounds like the bass is a bit more and maybe a tad bit more clear, to me anyway

You have to download it on your phone and tablet and then connect to your speaker and I think it's in settings and firmware update
