The Great Climbs by Bike Channel: Passo Gavia

LaClassica wears Paolo Savoldelli and Massimo Boglia for their reconnaissance bike on great climbs!
The Gavia Pass (2,652 m) is a mountain in the Retiche Alps that connects the high Camonica Valley and the Valley of the Gavia (Valfurva), on the border between the provinces of Brescia and Sondrio.
The climb of the Gavia is here traveled by the side of Ponte di Legno characterized by an important altitude with medium to high slopes. Going down in Valtellina is then possible to proceed towards the Mortirolo Pass. The two ascents were often addressed by the Giro d'Italia.
