Ok I was planning to just watch a few minutes of this cuz I am crazy busy today, but this was no cap so captivating that I was here for the long haul. Dang
I backpacked three weeks in the Big snowy mtns in October 1997 Woke up to 4’ of snow overnight and lost the trail at the ridge Most challenging day I had experienced at that point
We'll have to see... This was definitely the most unique range from last season, looking around for next season! Those are definitely not bad ideas tho!
Great film, looking forward to seeing what else you guys come out with! "Man what happened to the last month of my life?" Just wait till you have kids bro, I wonder the same thing about the last 3 years of my life.
I always wondered about the big snowys, might have to make a trek out there sometime. Awesome video guys, incredible production value, you guys should team up with my buddy who runs a videography company in the gallatin valley, it's called Big Cedar Media.
The locators are awesome! You are definitely lose some stability at speed, but I honestly think it's worth it for how light they are on the way up. I've loved them
@@meaningfullylost do you use a lense guard when you film with the insta 360? I know that some people like to have it and others don't want to sacrifice quality and I was wondering what you did.
I personally don't, the risk of fogging is increased as well as the quality drop like you mentioned. It's definitely an expensive risk, but i need to be able to depend on my gear to capture what's happening and a lens guard make the camera less dependable in my mind. Also, snow is pretty gentle, if I was mtn biking it may be a different story.
Yeah that’s what I thought, at least it wasn’t when I was hunting that area, there was one year the roads washed out real bad and it was closed for a couple of years until they re routed the new road!
Just great. Everytime someone posts something about "undiscovered" places in Montana then we get overrun with idiots coming here and ruining it for us locals. Why can't you just enjoy it without telling the whole world about it? People like you have ruined Glacier Park, the Bob Marshall , the rivers, heck, the whole state.
So stoked to work on this! And hyped to see all the positivity and support! More to come!
Appreciate the help 🙌
@@meaningfullylost incrdible work yall

Love this production, I didn't even realize this wasn't like a sponsored film or something until I saw it is a small channel, keep up the hard work!
Appreciate it bro, we're trying our best out here 😄
Paid for out of pocket, made possible by lots of walking, and Jordans commitment to wild ideas
this was fantastic. no shot you only have 750 subs. now that the 50 project is on hold, i hope to see more ski touring stuff from you guys! 🤙🏼

We'll have to see... This was definitely the most unique range from last season, looking around for next season! Those are definitely not bad ideas tho!
No doubt. I grew up there and skied it in the 90s.....no one talked about it, because no one needed to. We just wentout and did it.
This was a pretty good video and there was a lot of effort put into it.
Great film, looking forward to seeing what else you guys come out with!
"Man what happened to the last month of my life?" Just wait till you have kids bro, I wonder the same thing about the last 3 years of my life.
This video is amazing great editing and shit. It was like I was part of the experience
That's the goal! Trying to steer away from the hype based ski movies and bring you all into what the adventure actually felt like! Thank you!!
sick video boys
Thanks Hayden!! Really appreciate it :)
Hey do you guys know what you are going to use for mapping now that Fatmap is dead?
That's a tough one, onx is what I'm checking out right now
Top notch dudes
Thanks Keegan!!
Love this!
This was great.
Thank you!
Great video, sadly strava killed fatmap so we don't have that functionality any more

Edited: Big Cedar Media lol
Guessing this was 2023 which was a terrible snow year in MT, I'd be interested to see if you did it in a better snow year how it would be.
Really nice quality
Thank you!
Frick yeah dudes
This was crazy good actually
sick video.
Thanks man!!!
cool video

Great video quality!
Those rock towers look sweet! How do you like those locators? Just picked up the 104s.
The locators are awesome! You are definitely lose some stability at speed, but I honestly think it's worth it for how light they are on the way up. I've loved them
Was your first line attempt up timber creek? I used to hunt those mountains!
It was!! Good eye!
what action camera do you use?
GoPro for 3rd person shots that weren't DSLR, and and a mix of insta360 x3 & GoPro Max for headcam, mostly insta360

You fellas should have drove and trekked up swimming women, I think that would have been a good option!
As far as I know, swimming woman is private access nowadays
Swimming woman is definitely not private access

when is this
End of the season last year
End of March 2024!
Stop blowing up the spots in MT....
