This is so beautiful, I love your interpretation of this piece! The world can be so beautiful when there is music like this. Thank you, Valentina! Greetings from the Netherlands
Ola Sra.
Just watched your live performance at Royal Albert Hall. Wonderful. I will be buying it when it comes out. This piece in particular touched me. You have a real feeling for Rachmaninoff. I look forward to whatever you do in the future.
Valentina, your playing NEVER fails to touch me and I'm sure many others as well. Listening to you play is a gift from God. We Can't thank you enough for it.
Rachmaninoff hated having to go on trains and travel and go to halls and do concerts. He hated it but he never disappointed his audiences. Pianist - yes - one my mother watched in awe - but Composer foremost. Rachmaninoff would quite simply have handed the concerts mantle of his works over to Valentina, and I'll bet he'd have watched her as a grateful member of the audience as well :)
@ValentinaLisitsa Valentina ehm why are you depressed ? don`t you like youre interpretations ? I love you so pls answer my question as soon as you can my worshipped :)
It sounds great... though the way you move your fingers makes me feel uneasy. It's as if the long exaggerated movements could use more of an intuitive feel to them... let go of your hands, let them flow like water in a river and the birds will sing.
What a great artist she is, and what incredible feelings come up on listening to this wonderfule piece of music.

ballet for fingers on the keys
I was wondering if there were anymore soft, tender Rachmaninoff pieces like this? For some reason, I'm having trouble finding any.
DavidBlueScribe Op. 16 no. 5 is one. It’s pretty chill
