As a recruiter for 18 years, I like the technical interview element of this, but my role is to understand why a candidate is looking for a move, how much money they are earning and how much they are looking for a move, if I am dealing with a passive candidate then part of my job is to get them excited about a new opportunity and match how it fits their career aspirations, keep them interested when the hiring manager is not getting back with interview slots and post-interview feedback etc...
This seems obviously staged-the "recruiter" sounds more like a real person pretending to be an AI, possibly hired from a platform like Upwork. classic case of "fake it till you make it!" 😂
What a sad world we live in, recruiters and companies so lazy that they can't even bother hopping on a zoom call to talk to a candidate. Gone is all the humanity in human resource management

Why bother working for a company that doesn't even bother showing up for an interview?
