- This is the last of my large paintings that I made for Artigras! I will be back to regular programming next week! I wanted this painting to be softer and to have a more calming and peaceful feel. I chose to leave out some of the darker blues and I swiped with a thinner mixture to let the lacing not be so predominant. I love the little fish that appeared in the corner! What I like most about this channel is she posts so regularly always giving us something new, or revisiting a piece we may have forgotten about with a new perspective. What I like about Molly, besides her personality, is watching her creativity flow and change as fluidly as her paint. She gets as excited as we do to see what is happening throughout the process and the end result. Never hesitating to express if she doesn't care for something she's done, and then changing it up right in front of us. I don't have space or the budget to do this, but I relax to this channel in anxious times or fall asleep at night to this channel. I am sure Bob Ross is smiling down in pride!

When we saw you pouring the paint, we thought your blow dryer might be coming back. This one turned out beautiful but we hope to see you bring back your blow dryer soon. It is one of our favorite techniques.

I also see the fish, and with some imagination, it looks like a person swimming from the left with bubbles obscuring the to of their body and their face. The bubbles will be the lacing. ❤

I’ve just gotten a commission for a 84 x 72 ~ the largest I’ve ever done ~ the client has asked for shades of blue to encompass the view from their properties windows which overlook stunning views of an estuary. I’m so excited to get started on it. 😊
