I used to hate waking up early and going to school. I wanted to grow up fast and get more independence, but as i grew up, i realise how much i miss being younger. I miss the simpler days where my only concern for the future was what was for dinner today or i will be doing with my friends tonight. I am 18 years old now and have practically spent a third to a quarter of my life. My decisions affect the rest of my life massively. I work part-time to be more financially independent from my parents, essentially wasting crucial hours of my life on someone elses gain. I will never relive my childhood again. I will never restore my innocence again. I will never be able to see my dead relatives again. These days are gone and live only in memory.
