Those would be great for night fishing. You could pack several of them far easier than just one gas lantern. You could make a little shield to block off part of the lantern so it wouldn't mess with your night vision as much. Some Frog painter's tape would probably work well. It's easy to peel off and a roll would last forever. I think it could come in handy for all kinds of things.

I'd put bike handlebar tape on the battery barrel myself.....not a fan of slippery handle Flashlights. Fits the hiker, hunter, backyard types.....versatile and lite & small. I have 2 BLF LT1's and they are heavy.....I have to decide between this one or the LT1 mini. If the mini had the Throw light like the SCO3 here.....I'd get the mini no question.
I grabbed it last night on a lightning sale for 22..I hope with a battery 😂..but relies I want the 27k switchable like the mini blf Lt1 version of the original blf version and the new L T1S and a wanted moon mode and a hanger..I'll probably check it out first and give it a shot. If the light tint is not agreeable for my eyes. I may return it later.
Cool new release from sofirn! Can you compare it to the lt1s, lt1 mini and lt1? Very innovative including the thrower. Its all in one. Good for camping and emergency. Good vid btw!
At first I thought you were reviewing the Sofirn LT1-mini! Do you have one of those? It also uses a 21700 battery. This SC03 just has the added thrower built into its head - which is a great idea. Baffling as to why there is no knurling for grip, since Sofirn knows how to do that. 30 bucks is pretty good for this. Thanks for sharing!
@@smotheredchrome mhm.. yeah I was wondering why 1 lumen was 14xxx and zero air was 11700.. glad I got a 2nd source on the 11xxx. 1 lumen has suspicious test results at times.. either he is on point with all of us, or his lumens will be high, or his throw will be really low… he’s just not consistent with his results compared to the rest of us lol. Do u have a video specifically on the marauder or just he comparisons. I know u have had it for a whilem
@@smotheredchrome I already have a 280m ~10,000 lumen carry light so I don’t think the marauder would be too impressive.. minus the throw capability which I love.. but at the same time the tn50 is all the flood and power I want but no throw that’s a beam like the marauder2
That’s a pretty sweet little lantern/flashlight. Definitely cool especially for $30. I do wish it had one more step between moonlight and low
