This is the connection to bring Julie Pierce ( Hillary Swank) back. BTW honestly Julie Pierce fighting scenes were most impressive. Hillary Swank is a natural athlete. There's a reason Clint Eastwood cast her in Million Dollar Baby which she won both an Oscar & Golden Globe. .The most accomplished actor in the franchise

Such powerful scenes with Tori, but it felt rushed at the end. Weird editing...it feels like scenes were cut out. Maybe there will be flashbacks in the next 5 episodes?
Where is Tory's younger brother while she is in Barcelona? Was there a funeral for Tory's mom? Did anyone from Miyagi Do show up or at least send condolence cards? Is Tory 18 years old yet? If not, wouldn't she and her brother be placed in foster care if there truly was no one else to be their legal guardian?
Yeah.. The whole episode felt like a massive shark jump. I guess, since they decided to split the season up - for god knows WHAT reason - they felt the need to have every 5th episode end with everything coming undone. This episode....this whole season, really...just doesn't make me care enough to wait months to see the next 5 episodes and get another bunch of bad cliffhangers in November, or whenever
Man, I just wanna give Tory a hug. One of the people who she has defended and worked her ass off so many jobs to take care of had to reply with an untimely death. This just isn’t fair for her. Everything Tory had to sacrifice to help her mother. Her karate, friends and her freedom. She’s only just an innocent teenager who has so many unforeseen obstacles that sometimes can’t be overcome. She now needs help. More than ever. I really hope Miyagi-Fang can help her in anyway possible and can make her see that she is never alone. That Tory will always have a home with her friends. Ever since the season started, everyone in Miyagi-Fang accepted her for who she truly is. A pure, harmless human being who has an unfair life growing up raising an ill mother and a little brother all on her own. Even Sam finally saw that. Just know Tory, everyone in Miyagi-Fang forgives you. You will always have a place with them, and your mother would be very proud that you will continue to fight for the people you truly love. Even Mr Miyagi would be proud of you. Remember that.

Cobra Kai has always had great music, but the music in this episode was absolutely epic. Felt like Peyton List also did a good job this episode as Tori. It's a tough role to play and I think she's largely done it well.
Her performance in this episode was a standout for List, who deserves a lot of credit for it. This was very reminiscent of the BTVS episode "The Body."
There will be a total of 3 parts, 15 episodes all together, this was a great ending for the first part though and a great way to lead us into the tournament.. everything involving Tory was saddening to see, but it makes sense why she would fall back to Kreese.. not for him or cobra kai.. but for herself and what she thinks her mother would’ve wanted.
I also think tory knew kreese was right when he said that the larussos will always keep her below sam, especially when Daniel said" we'll find another way"

All Daniel and Johnny have to do is tell those in charge of the Sekai Taikai that Cobra Kai's sensei is an escaped fugitive and that should get them disqualified from the tournament.
I think a lot of time elapsed from the end of the Match fights at Miyagi-Do, the headband ceremony, and arriving at the Sekai Tekai. I think there will be flashbacks to those gaps in Part 2.
Surely they will provide some sort of clarity on that time period. That was such a wild jump. There are 10 episodes left in this season, so I'm holding on to the fact that there's still so much left to cover that this jump will feel insignificant later.
Daniel has two issues that he really needs to work on. Those issue are that he can't let go of the past and he's trying so hard to honor Mr Miyagi karate that he doesn't want to bring something new to Miyagi do because he felt that's not what Mr Miyagi would've wanted when Daniels failed to realize that Mr Miyagi didn't care about keeping Miyagi do the way it is or adding something new . what Miyagi cared about is to always remember that karate is only for defense no matter what technique you learn and also both karate & life must have balance. So Daniel needs to grow up , let go of the past , stop trying so hard to keep Miyagi do the way it was and try something new it doesn't hurt to learn & add new techniques.
That's exactly what I said, might aswell bring Kenny into the Cobra Kai team as Tory makes it 4, thought there were meant to be 6. So Kenny and who else? 🤔 I think Kreese went to see Torys mum, said something to her and she lashed out at him with a fist 👊 but collapsed. Cos that way, he gets to have Tory as she has nothing left. That's my theory.
Have to remember Tory’s aunt was waiting for this to take her brother away, I assume for government assistance/$$$. This why I thinks she’s been written to be with Kreese. They are very similar down to both have moms who died, and we know he has a soft spot for her. I think he ends up doing something near the end of the tournament to step in and stop her aunt, and it’s going to cost him the tournament. (Kreese redemption.)

I’m completely on Daniel’s side for the last scenes! Johnny is using his own trauma and projecting it on Tori, she is different person and her stakes are different and situation are different as well. Daniel has his daughter in danger in the fight and knows whether win or lose her mental was not in the right for a fight like the captain slot, if she needs to fight then someone who is open to just fight for a fight can indulge her. And Johnny had no right to talk about Miyagi like that, people are just letting that slide because it’s Johnny saying that and not Daniel, because if Daniel had said something like that Johnny and got hit, everyone would defend Johnny, people will always look past what Johnny does and blame Daniel. For Miyagi do partnership stuff it was more Daniel’s fault but I do respect the apology, and the least Johnny could do is back up his partner in the Tory situation especially because he was complaining about the partnership and talk about stuff later about how he thinks that she should let out anger by fighting.
Completely disagree, they should have just let Tori fight. She was doing it for her mom. Just like Brett Favre played football after his Dad died to honor him no matter how it hurt and now they have lost one of their best fighters to Cobra Kai, huge mistake and Jonny was right for once!!!!
Daniel was 100% correct in stopping the fight. Johnny may have meant well, but offering up Sam as a punching bag to sort out Tory’s issue’s was never gonna end well. Tory needed to process her issues in a non-violent way. Johnny resorting to violence to sort out his issues has landed him in the hospital, jail, and has ruined several of his interpersonal relationships, same with Tory. Plus, Johnny wasn’t at all helping matters by sneaking in snide comments when Daniel and Amanda were trying to calm Tory down He made Tory’s trauma all about another dick-measuring contest with Daniel. Johnny genuinely hasn’t changed at all and it was so frustrating to see.
I am surprised how many reactors missed the obvious hint in I believe episode 3 or 4 when Kreese says "We still need our champion" or something like that and it immediately cuts to Tory.
Hell yes! I loved this ending. All I wanted going into the final season was a Tory Kreese reunion. Their teacher student relationship has always been my favorite storyline. Ever since season 3.
She was in Cobra Kai seasons 2-5, and has mostly had a good relationship with Kreese, so it makes sense. She was always Kreese's nr. 1. I don't really see it as a betrayal from her end. She probably just wants to fight for her future, and she thinks she wouldn't get a fair chance at Miyagi-Do. Also due to the mind games of Kreese. She does look like a boss though in the black Gi, much better than in white.

i think the time jump is more a teaser of part 2 of the season, but part 2 will rewind it back a bit to show what happened between the captain fights and the scene in Barcelona
I’m with Johnny on this, tori wanted to fight let her. Daniel had the right mindset he just handled it wrong. He should have pulled Tori to the side and told her if she agreed to play by the rules she could have finished, but he ended. Deep down inside he did that because he knew Sam was either gonna lose or get hurt. But Johnny had a major point she was working through it, remember Johnny said when his mom died all he wanted to do was fight and it could have helped him. After his mom died he went down a dark path that caused him to technically abandon his son.

I'm guessing they had to submit the names for the team and captains by a deadline, so they didn't have the luxury of putting the fight off a week or taking time to determine the replacement. They could have put in a line to explain that however.
Hi TBR& Sam This episode really has me torn . There are situations that need addressing I felt before the tournament in Spain . It does feel over rushed and sadly unresolved . I do not know what is happening next but I really need some valid unity and even resolutions to be made before this series ends . I was not a teenager when my mom died but I was still young and I walked into almost the same situation.... this was tough to watch. I wish Tory had felt like she could turn to Robbie , Sam, or Amanda before she stood in the match against Sam. She was even close with Miguel in the beginning and he got Sam to go talk to Tory . Tory has so much support and she didn't trust it because she never really had that kind of support before . For everyone just to let Tory walk away was a Huge let down . What ever happens in the next episodes I hope the truth comes out about Kenny and what happend on that flag trail . He was cheated out of a fair chance . I felt so bad for Tory and I can't blame Tory for feeling the way she felt because 5yrs ago I lost my mom and my mom was like my best friend just like Tory mom was Tory best friend. In a way My mom was like Tory mom always there ,always supportive & always tell me to don't stop fighting & keep going. So I understand Tory pain and I understand that she needed to fight because she promised her mom that she'll keep fighting and not give up. However I think it was the right call to stop the fight because Tory was in no condition to compete she was angry , grieving , she was in a dark place & and she could've seriously hurt Sam, and we all know that's not what Tory mom would've wanted for her .
Loved this first part of season 6, defo went faster than I thought. The thing with miyagi fighting in the tournament is, he told daniel that he never fought in a tournament
I mean it only makes sense as they hadn’t introduced a female fighter to represent Cobra Kai in any of the previous 4 episodes so they had to have like an Anakin to the dark side moment whether it would have been Devon or Tori going over to the other side
Thanks for all your reaction videos. I really enjoy your videos. It's fun to watch you guys. About this episode of CK season 6 and the first 4, I think that a lot of the stuff that we've seen in all these episodes feel very forced. Since so many conflicts were resolved last season, the writers of this show put themselves into a corner, by their own admission. Because of this, for this season they've had to force some new conflicts into the episodes and reignite certain conflicts that have already been resolved, like between Daniel and Johnny. We'll have to see how all of this turns out and where the story goes.
Tory fights with so much heart and pain. she's always had a chaotic and frenetic energy on the mat and now we know why. i;ll bet my house Devon's scandal causes johnny to reform eagle fang and that's how they'll get miguel and devon into the captains tournament.
Eagle Fang didn't win a spot into the tournament though, they entered as Miyagi-Do, no chance Johnny is just allowed to say "I want to re-enter half our top 6 a separate team" when they're already at the tournament lmao

I didn't like the way this episode ended, I'm referring to the time jump. Not that Tory went back to Kreese and Cobra Kai but it felt to rushed to me. I would have liked to have seen some kind of timeline for Tory to go back to Cobra Kai, not necessarily her reaching out to Kreese but maybe some scenes of Tory by herself and questioning everything. I also wished they had given us a timeline as to how long the it was from the captain determination fights to going to Spain for the tournament itself. It's very possible that we're going to get Julie Pierce in the third part of the season (the final five episodes). Great reaction and many blessings to you and yours.
there’s a leaked photo of kenny at the competition with them and he’s either standing next to sam or devon. i think it’s sam, so it may have been exposed that devon sabotaged the flag competition and they got kenny there but i don’t know how they did it that quick 😂
The showrunners know about leaks and have stated they have prepared for it by having different people in places or in different outfits to throw people off. I think Kenny is just gonna be back home having it out with Anthony is all.

She lost the fight either way. That's just dumb. It shouldn't have been stopped. If Sam can't deal with Tory like this, then she shouldn't be in the "most dangerous tournament". If Tory lose in combat, it's fine. This was just Sam's bitch ass parents protecting her and gifting her something she didn't earn.

The show has been hinting it since s3. Daniel told Amanda he's stepping back and Johnny's got a full-time job and a baby coming, so that leaves Sam running Miyagi Do. - These writers are brilliant and do NOT waste ink. Theyve been setting up the spinoff for years. I thought it would take place after college, but fan-favorite Hawk suddenly deciding to not go to school 3000 miles away has me second guessing myself.
I'm pissed at the way Miguel got done in this part. Built up to win but then fan service wins in the final season ig. I think Robby's getting his pityful win afterall. Oh he's the only one who hasn't won, lets give it to him
This episode 5. I have some pretty strong opinions on it. It made me cry, I felt so bad for Tory in this episode. Honestly---!!! I really wish Daniel would have stayed out of the fight, and let Tory fight the way she was, in this situation, Johnny was right, she was working through it, and honestly how he expresses how when his mother died, he'd kill to have been on the matt to let it out. But it looks like everyone is playing favorites with Sam and Not Tory. and I know that they just want to help, but Tory is grieving and in pain, she's upset and emotionally angry, and she's lost in her own grief. I couldn't stop crying for Tory. But honestly, she might had open up to everyone after the fight, there's no telling what could have been, but she needed to let that out in her own way and in a healthy way, but now she is back on Cobra Kai's side once again. because she thinks that Daniel and everyone were sticking up for Sam and wanted Sam and there picking favorites. everyone was definently playing favorites or staying silent which isnt much better, sam did not earn the spot as captain as she was about to lose to Tory had daniel not stopped the fight. and as far as Robby is concerned his inaction is very telling of where his loyalty really lies and it sure isn't with her or he wouldve gone after her when she was leaving! johnny was the only person who knew that tory was going thru something before anyone else said anything. he saw the signs and was watching her carefully you can see it on his face.
I'm completely on Johnny's side regarding Tory. Maybe the fight should have been stopped, maybe it shouldn't've. First off, Sam should have been asked if she wanted to keep fighting her. Then every adult there should have gone with that decision. It wasn't theirs to make.
Personnaly, I did not like the whole first part of season 6. It's getting to be the same all the time between the students: friends/enemies, friends/enemies... Same for LaRusso and Lawrence, they are ok, then they fight, then they are ok, then they fight.... I think there is no more character evolutions. It's just waiting for the next drama that is gonna lead to the next betrayal. And the situation the Kreese "solved" with the Korea dojo was so easy and simple I cannot believe they could not do it themselves. I mean it's the very way they train. And that video game like quest of Kreese with the cobra..... they don't know what to do anymore. They are getting way out of ideas at this point. What's the next step? At the last episode Johnny wakes up and the whole series was a dream? At this point it wouldn't surprise me.

This episode pissed me off in all the ways you both were worried about. Bad (lazy) writing, for sure, but these characters annoyed the sh!t out of me, particularly Johnny's behavior at the end. I think he was certainly within reason to have a difference of opinion with regard to allowing Tori to fight; however him immediately accusing Daniel and his wife of choosing Sam over Tori was immature, even by Johnny in Season One standards.
@@punch1420I didn’t like season 5 ending at all. 3 drunk grown men attack silver at home. Several non members enter cobra Kai dojo after hours to hack the security system. Silver is shown to be a briber and all the kids quit. But earlier in the season were all perfectly fine with cheating to win themselves. Silver is arrested. For what I’m not sure. Stingray changes his testimony in a parking lot. Deliberate Testimony he gave that sent an innocent man to prison. None of that made any sense to me at all. They were just trying to tie it all up and put a bow on it with the short time they had and probably thought that was gonna be the final season.
I love the first 4 seasons but seasons 5 and 6 so far have gotten way too goofy. Kreese is like a cartoon character at this point and watching Daniel have his 117th falling out with Johnny is a little exhausting.

I hope Miguel wins the Sakai Sekai. Him and Tory deserve it more than anyone else imo. Miguel is the main kid of the show and now he keeps getting treated like a background character. I hope he takes Robbys place as captain somehow and tornado kicks Kown in the final match of the sekai tekai.

Tory sent her to the Hospital end if season 2. Season 3 Tory drowned her in a dream. Finale was a draw. Season 4 Tory beat her in the Tournament. It’s may be tainted but Tory did win and was awarded the Trophy. She didn’t cheat. There wasn’t a do over or give backs

Yes. The doctor clearly said it was a pulmonary embolism. Aka a blood clot in the lung. That is a legit thing. Kreese showing up was just a matter of convenience for the plot to move forward and timing - good or bad. Something the show as done since season 1. The fist her mom made was just there to show her mom was a fighter and to trigger Tory at the start of her fight with Sam for the Captain spot when Sam made a fist to give her a fist bump. This isn’t a deep conspiracy show. Kreese isn’t that kind of a bad guy/villain. Plus he cares for Tory. He’s not gonna KILL her mom just to get her to fight for Cobra Kai in a tournament.

Man, I just wanna give Tory a hug. One of the people who she has defended and worked her ass off so many jobs to take care of had to reply with an untimely death. This just isn’t fair for her. Everything Tory had to sacrifice to help her mother. Her karate, friends and her freedom. She’s only just an innocent teenager who has so many unforeseen obstacles that sometimes can’t be overcome. She now needs help. More than ever.
I really hope Miyagi-Fang can help her in anyway possible and can make her see that she is never alone. That Tory will always have a home with her friends. Ever since the season started, everyone in Miyagi-Fang accepted her for who she truly is. A pure, harmless human being who has an unfair life growing up raising an ill mother and a little brother all on her own. Even Sam finally saw that.
Just know Tory, everyone in Miyagi-Fang forgives you. You will always have a place with them, and your mother would be very proud that you will continue to fight for the people you truly love.

Cobra Kai has always had great music, but the music in this episode was absolutely epic.
Felt like Peyton List also did a good job this episode as Tori. It's a tough role to play and I think she's largely done it well.
best character on the show. i bet she's salivating when she gets these scripts. they give her so much good material.
Her performance in this episode was a standout for List, who deserves a lot of credit for it. This was very reminiscent of the BTVS episode "The Body."
There will be a total of 3 parts, 15 episodes all together, this was a great ending for the first part though and a great way to lead us into the tournament.. everything involving Tory was saddening to see, but it makes sense why she would fall back to Kreese.. not for him or cobra kai.. but for herself and what she thinks her mother would’ve wanted.
I also think tory knew kreese was right when he said that the larussos will always keep her below sam, especially when Daniel said" we'll find another way"

All Daniel and Johnny have to do is tell those in charge of the Sekai Taikai that Cobra Kai's sensei is an escaped fugitive and that should get them disqualified from the tournament.
I think a lot of time elapsed from the end of the Match fights at Miyagi-Do, the headband ceremony, and arriving at the Sekai Tekai. I think there will be flashbacks to those gaps in Part 2.
Surely they will provide some sort of clarity on that time period. That was such a wild jump. There are 10 episodes left in this season, so I'm holding on to the fact that there's still so much left to cover that this jump will feel insignificant later.

Daniel has two issues that he really needs to work on. Those issue are that he can't let go of the past and he's trying so hard to honor Mr Miyagi karate that he doesn't want to bring something new to Miyagi do because he felt that's not what Mr Miyagi would've wanted when Daniels failed to realize that Mr Miyagi didn't care about keeping Miyagi do the way it is or adding something new . what Miyagi cared about is to always remember that karate is only for defense no matter what technique you learn and also both karate & life must have balance. So Daniel needs to grow up , let go of the past , stop trying so hard to keep Miyagi do the way it was and try something new it doesn't hurt to learn & add new techniques.

This why I thinks she’s been written to be with Kreese. They are very similar down to both have moms who died, and we know he has a soft spot for her. I think he ends up doing something near the end of the tournament to step in and stop her aunt, and it’s going to cost him the tournament. (Kreese redemption.)

I’m completely on Daniel’s side for the last scenes! Johnny is using his own trauma and projecting it on Tori, she is different person and her stakes are different and situation are different as well. Daniel has his daughter in danger in the fight and knows whether win or lose her mental was not in the right for a fight like the captain slot, if she needs to fight then someone who is open to just fight for a fight can indulge her. And Johnny had no right to talk about Miyagi like that, people are just letting that slide because it’s Johnny saying that and not Daniel, because if Daniel had said something like that Johnny and got hit, everyone would defend Johnny, people will always look past what Johnny does and blame Daniel. For Miyagi do partnership stuff it was more Daniel’s fault but I do respect the apology, and the least Johnny could do is back up his partner in the Tory situation especially because he was complaining about the partnership and talk about stuff later about how he thinks that she should let out anger by fighting.

Daniel was 100% correct in stopping the fight. Johnny may have meant well, but offering up Sam as a punching bag to sort out Tory’s issue’s was never gonna end well. Tory needed to process her issues in a non-violent way. Johnny resorting to violence to sort out his issues has landed him in the hospital, jail, and has ruined several of his interpersonal relationships, same with Tory.
Plus, Johnny wasn’t at all helping matters by sneaking in snide comments when Daniel and Amanda were trying to calm Tory down
He made Tory’s trauma all about another dick-measuring contest with Daniel. Johnny genuinely hasn’t changed at all and it was so frustrating to see.
I am surprised how many reactors missed the obvious hint in I believe episode 3 or 4 when Kreese says "We still need our champion" or something like that and it immediately cuts to Tory.
Hell yes! I loved this ending. All I wanted going into the final season was a Tory Kreese reunion. Their teacher student relationship has always been my favorite storyline. Ever since season 3.
She was in Cobra Kai seasons 2-5, and has mostly had a good relationship with Kreese, so it makes sense. She was always Kreese's nr. 1. I don't really see it as a betrayal from her end. She probably just wants to fight for her future, and she thinks she wouldn't get a fair chance at Miyagi-Do. Also due to the mind games of Kreese.
She does look like a boss though in the black Gi, much better than in white.

I’m with Johnny on this, tori wanted to fight let her. Daniel had the right mindset he just handled it wrong. He should have pulled Tori to the side and told her if she agreed to play by the rules she could have finished, but he ended. Deep down inside he did that because he knew Sam was either gonna lose or get hurt. But Johnny had a major point she was working through it, remember Johnny said when his mom died all he wanted to do was fight and it could have helped him. After his mom died he went down a dark path that caused him to technically abandon his son.

I'm guessing they had to submit the names for the team and captains by a deadline, so they didn't have the luxury of putting the fight off a week or taking time to determine the replacement. They could have put in a line to explain that however.

Hi TBR& Sam This episode really has me torn . There are situations that need addressing I felt before the tournament in Spain . It does feel over rushed and sadly unresolved . I do not know what is happening next but I really need some valid unity and even resolutions to be made before this series ends .
I was not a teenager when my mom died but I was still young and I walked into almost the same situation.... this was tough to watch. I wish Tory had felt like she could turn to Robbie , Sam, or Amanda before she stood in the match against Sam. She was even close with Miguel in the beginning and he got Sam to go talk to Tory . Tory has so much support and she didn't trust it because she never really had that kind of support before . For everyone just to let Tory walk away was a Huge let down .
What ever happens in the next episodes I hope the truth comes out about Kenny and what happend on that flag trail . He was cheated out of a fair chance . Thank you for your channel I really do enjoy your reactions and comments .... they really do add a lot
I felt so bad for Tory and I can't blame Tory for feeling the way she felt because 5yrs ago I lost my mom and my mom was like my best friend just like Tory mom was Tory best friend. In a way My mom was like Tory mom always there ,always supportive & always tell me to don't stop fighting & keep going. So I understand Tory pain and I understand that she needed to fight because she promised her mom that she'll keep fighting and not give up. However I think it was the right call to stop the fight because Tory was in no condition to compete she was angry , grieving , she was in a dark place & and she could've seriously hurt Sam, and we all know that's not what Tory mom would've wanted for her .

Thanks for all your reaction videos. I really enjoy your videos. It's fun to watch you guys. About this episode of CK season 6 and the first 4, I think that a lot of the stuff that we've seen in all these episodes feel very forced. Since so many conflicts were resolved last season, the writers of this show put themselves into a corner, by their own admission. Because of this, for this season they've had to force some new conflicts into the episodes and reignite certain conflicts that have already been resolved, like between Daniel and Johnny. We'll have to see how all of this turns out and where the story goes.
Tory fights with so much heart and pain. she's always had a chaotic and frenetic energy on the mat and now we know why.
i;ll bet my house Devon's scandal causes johnny to reform eagle fang and that's how they'll get miguel and devon into the captains tournament.

I didn't like the way this episode ended, I'm referring to the time jump.
Not that Tory went back to Kreese and Cobra Kai but it felt to rushed to me.
I would have liked to have seen some kind of timeline for Tory to go back to Cobra Kai, not necessarily her reaching out to Kreese but maybe some scenes of Tory by herself and questioning everything.
I also wished they had given us a timeline as to how long the it was from the captain determination fights to going to Spain for the tournament itself.
It's very possible that we're going to get Julie Pierce in the third part of the season (the final five episodes).

there’s a leaked photo of kenny at the competition with them and he’s either standing next to sam or devon. i think it’s sam, so it may have been exposed that devon sabotaged the flag competition and they got kenny there but i don’t know how they did it that quick 😂
The showrunners know about leaks and have stated they have prepared for it by having different people in places or in different outfits to throw people off. I think Kenny is just gonna be back home having it out with Anthony is all.

This episode 5. I have some pretty strong opinions on it. It made me cry, I felt so bad for Tory in this episode. Honestly---!!! I really wish Daniel would have stayed out of the fight, and let Tory fight the way she was, in this situation, Johnny was right, she was working through it, and honestly how he expresses how when his mother died, he'd kill to have been on the matt to let it out. But it looks like everyone is playing favorites with Sam and Not Tory. and I know that they just want to help, but Tory is grieving and in pain, she's upset and emotionally angry, and she's lost in her own grief. I couldn't stop crying for Tory. But honestly, she might had open up to everyone after the fight, there's no telling what could have been, but she needed to let that out in her own way and in a healthy way, but now she is back on Cobra Kai's side once again. because she thinks that Daniel and everyone were sticking up for Sam and wanted Sam and there picking favorites.
everyone was definently playing favorites or staying silent which isnt much better, sam did not earn the spot as captain as she was about to lose to Tory had daniel not stopped the fight. and as far as Robby is concerned his inaction is very telling of where his loyalty really lies and it sure isn't with her or he wouldve gone after her when she was leaving! johnny was the only person who knew that tory was going thru something before anyone else said anything. he saw the signs and was watching her carefully you can see it on his face.

Personnaly, I did not like the whole first part of season 6. It's getting to be the same all the time between the students: friends/enemies, friends/enemies... Same for LaRusso and Lawrence, they are ok, then they fight, then they are ok, then they fight.... I think there is no more character evolutions. It's just waiting for the next drama that is gonna lead to the next betrayal. And the situation the Kreese "solved" with the Korea dojo was so easy and simple I cannot believe they could not do it themselves. I mean it's the very way they train. And that video game like quest of Kreese with the cobra..... they don't know what to do anymore. They are getting way out of ideas at this point. What's the next step? At the last episode Johnny wakes up and the whole series was a dream? At this point it wouldn't surprise me.

This episode pissed me off in all the ways you both were worried about. Bad (lazy) writing, for sure, but these characters annoyed the sh!t out of me, particularly Johnny's behavior at the end. I think he was certainly within reason to have a difference of opinion with regard to allowing Tori to fight; however him immediately accusing Daniel and his wife of choosing Sam over Tori was immature, even by Johnny in Season One standards.

None of that made any sense to me at all. They were just trying to tie it all up and put a bow on it with the short time they had and probably thought that was gonna be the final season.
I love the first 4 seasons but seasons 5 and 6 so far have gotten way too goofy. Kreese is like a cartoon character at this point and watching Daniel have his 117th falling out with Johnny is a little exhausting.

there’s a theory (which is not mine) this is just what a lot of other people have been saying but it’s that kreese had something to do with tory‘s mom‘s death and she figured it out somehow so the reason she’s with cobra kai is to get back at kreese by helping miyagi do win. again, if anyone wants to come at me, this is not my theory. this is just what a lot of people I’ve been seeing is saying and in someways it makes sense but other ways it doesn’t. i just thought it was an interesting theory.
This series is so fun to watch. Too bad all the kids are over 40 years old. lol.

Kreese showing up was just a matter of convenience for the plot to move forward and timing - good or bad. Something the show as done since season 1.
The fist her mom made was just there to show her mom was a fighter and to trigger Tory at the start of her fight with Sam for the Captain spot when Sam made a fist to give her a fist bump.

Kreese isn’t that kind of a bad guy/villain. Plus he cares for Tory. He’s not gonna KILL her mom just to get her to fight for Cobra Kai in a tournament.

Everybody is complaining about Daniel or even Johnny sometime but like I’ve said I blame Amanda SHE told Daniel to stop the fight and She told Johnny what was in the box to throw in Daniel’s face
