Thank goodness for school runs, Ubers offers are now truly shocking. I was offered £3:55 for an 8.1 mile job. My acceptance range is now below 10%. You might as well go to Benidorm in January.
I left the PH industry 10 yrs ago, it was tough then to make a living. I haven't looked back, got a good job and progressed my career with the company. Good luck for whatever u choose to do, be lucky.
So true. I packed in 2 months ago. Owned car so no horrific expenses but unless I wanted to do 12 hours shifts everyday I couldn't make it pay. I've got a part time job 14 hours and have more surplus income than working 50 hour weeks
Done plenty of £300 Saturdays doing 12-14 hours shifts Last month i done a £405 Saturday shift in 14 hours on uber which included a £90 job from anfield to Lancaster its all about being clever on what jobs to pick and using the 10 hour drive time wisely
I work Liverpool m8 try and stay in Liverpool most of the time find the small jobs 6 or 8 pound ate the best close on 2 pound a mile it’s the jobs that go further out are close on a pound a mile I do mostly days and average around 20 pound per hour over the week normally do about 45 hrs on the week so not to bad.
Wow, that's not good mate. Too many idiots accepting £1 or less a mile jobs .... as u say, park your car up in January, pointless. I was gutted Friday as my diff went in the gear box, I was gutted thinking I will miss the Xmas new year money, on what you've done, I'm not assed. The sectors changed, drivers have changed, I can't see it going back, sadly 😔
Yes spot on mate my clutch went 2 days before Christmas year's ago I was gutted but got my for new year and smashed it made brilliant money those days are definitely gone.
@Letstalktaxis sadly, can't get mine fixed until the 6rh of Jan, I will miss it all because it's also an automatic and can't get a settle car anywhere 😢
i bet you’ve seen some changes, i’ve been with them 2 years and seen a difference, i remember a job come in £86 to liverpool, got one last week to liverpool but i was further away offered me £66
My Taxi Insurance and licences all expire in August 2025 and that's when I retire from Uber/Taxiing for good after 18years. I'm 55 in April and if I find a job with reasonable pay I might pack it in before as its not worth it anymore.
@@Letstalktaxis will do. I've been on the fence about whether to apply for my pH license but after researching the job it feels like most of you guys are earning close to minimum wage for a lot of risk on your part, ie insurance, car maintenance, unsocial Hours, unpredictable earnings. I mean don't get me wrong, I think the freedom it offers is great but the risk reward ratio feels one sided on this these days.... we'll see how it goes. Might just jump in and get a feel.
Do you think it is better to be part time and do another job and just do Uber to top your money up... That way you are guaranteed a wage with your other job Rather than doing Uber full time for not brilliant money and long hours
@@jamienott2337 possibly, I think it depends on your circumstances and the part time job you can get. I did think about doing it this way but the car and insurance are a big outlay yearly so you need to recoup this otherwise it's not worth doing part-time. Depends what part-time means in Uber world 😂
@@change2023now I am a window cleaner in the days... Normally start around 8-1.30 every day.... In those hours I can earn anything from £180 - £250 depending on what I got on..... But when I get home and after I sort the kids out there tea etc they don't want to know me 😂... So I am just sitting there all evening watching TV or my phone.... So was thinking about doing Uber just to give me something to do while earning some money..... But the more I am watching your videos and others on here I am thinking is it worth it... Like you said car insurance etc... was thinking of getting my own car... But would I earn that back for the hours/wage I will be doing ... Maybe 6/7 hours

Yes mine has dropped dramatically. I used to have a school run back in the day guaranteed money.
£132 is very bad for 9 hours work. I hope work gets busy for you. I enjoy your videos.

Well done mate you're proof that it can be done
Same with any job if you want good money you got to put the hours in
True but it's becoming longer and longer to make the money I used to do in half the time
I wasn’t far off during Eid but ran out of driving time. But then went on to do Uber Eats & Just Eat so smashed £300 that day.
Good stuff mate
I’ve got a decent school run mate keeps me going good luck in the next few weeks
@@dannymcdonald4999 cheers mate
Nice video! Are we going to see a video of Lee soon since he had the problems registering the car with Uber?
Yes you will be seeing more of Lee and something else to ?
@ We look forward to it.

Add travelling mileage to on trip mileage. £1 a mile. Maybe + one pound. Absolutely got us by the short & curlies 😎🙏🙏
They certainly have and they know that.
Have you got any sort of union to fight these prices and jobs miles away ?
@@jamienott2337 no I think Uber are now so dominant they can do what they like
