She has a good amount of permatease so if you get your fingers in there and scrunch her you can get a good amount of body. I'm also thinking hanging upside down will be really good for her too! 😀👍🤍

I've just started the wig journey and I get frustrated at not knowing how to style them and make them more natural looking. You make it look so easy. I know this is a super beginner's request, but would you make a short video showing what you do to a box hair looking wig, and how and where you hang it upside down? If they don't look somewhat decent out of the box, I tend to give up and just go back to my old thin hair, lol. Thanks for videos! I look forward to gaining the skill and confidence that you have! 😊

I'm hoping that not only with it being a Large, but also "Whisperlite" that means I will be less prone to migraines (which is why my veeeeery brief attempt at wigs a few years ago failed). Plus now that I'm in my 50's I'm having my own personal summers, even when in A/C (if you know what I mean! Hahahaha). I need to stay as cooooool as possible. haha. I'm so excited. Can't wait to pick out a few other options. My goodness; at these prices I can get 2-3 each time for the price 1 would be someplace else! Next I'm going to check out some of the Temu items I saw you wear before and see if they are still available. You have such great taste and style! But the info helps me keep my life affordable while being able to look top notch! My favorite styling product now is the TressTech Wig Wax Spray! I always use it for styling and also the Jon Renau piece out cream is a good one to have too. The whisperlite wigs are very comfortable and also, if you get a large cap, I think that will help too! I understand the hot flashes and I'm just now finally past that. It's a relief but I remember those days! 🥵 I love the affordability of PY wigs and, yes, looking good and having cute clothes without breaking the bank is so important to me too! Hi Marie, thank you so much dear! 🥰 I have had wigs that I put back in the box and then tried a month or two later, played with them and love then. I love this wig in petite size. My side to side and front to back is actually an inch shorter than petite size but wig fits very nicely and I like the extra length on my small head. I’m starting to think about trying this honey shade.
Oh that sounds pretty! And I misspoke here, she is actually SF 10/26 Buttered Toast, just slightly lighter than honey and more of an ash tone. Honey is more of a gold tone. I really love them both! 💕🤗
Like it. Looks different from the one I used to buy. Question sometimes u wear 10/26 but mostly honey. Sometimes each wig is different shade and highlights wise. How do I decide which to get. Curious. Thanks
Thank you! Yes, I like both colors. In my experience it seems like BT and Honey are blonder in the shorter styles but darker in the longer styles. It may have something to do with the way the colors are a gradiant from light to dark. 💛😊💛
Beth, update on my Chantal that I dissed a while back. I played with her, jooged it a bit as you do, and I sewed a couple of the wefts together that were visible and sprayed some rooting spray and trimmed some bangs, put the back up in a ponytail, and she looks wonderful! You can use furniture markers too which are usually permanent or semi-permanent. I love Paula Young wigs' fibers--better than some name-brand ones for sure! And they last longer than some of those name-brands, too!
@@BethsBestHair Beth, I never thought a flatter wig (not totally flat) with bangs, would look good on me but the way this wig frames your face is remarkable and my daughter, who is my biggest and trustworthy fan and critic, made a big fuss on how flattering it looked especially the Pippa wig. Go figure? I need height at the crown and I did it with a lot of work but I did it! The Pippa wig was on clearance for about $29.99-$39.99. Thanks for all of your amazing tips and tricks. If I’m not filming, I take a new wig out of the box, shake it, put it on, spritz with water and start digging and lifting the fibers up. Take off, shake and hang upside down until dry. Then when you put it back on if it’s still too shiny, add some dry shampoo and work in with your fingers, then add a little root spray if you like! 💕🤗 You only fo that once to a new wig, then it’s always ready to go! 👍 Thank you so much! 💖

Thanks Melissa. 💕🤗 and I use the light brown, spray the part and then in sections throughout the top. I also spray my bio hair on the sides to blend in together. Works really well and I think it keeps it looking natural! 💕👍

I have a question! Did she hold the volume you put in her? I am having problems with a few of my wigs that does not have permatease or very much permatease in them. When I try to put volume into them it just kind of falls out. Thank you in advance for your answer. Much love my friend💕
Thanks Katie, with the permatease she will hold her style and if it does relax a little, just get your fingers in there and scrunch it up. You can also use a little hairspray to hold the style. Without permatease it will be very difficult to hold a style in a synthetic wig! 🤗💕👍
I know this is a couple years old but what is the color of the wig that you are wearing in the beginning? I think you said "Honey". I Honey always that highlighted? I like the warmth.
I am wearing Heidi in SF 12/28 Honey. I had trimmed a bang in Heidi. I love that style. Honey is a very warm tone and I find the longer ones have more defined highlights in my opinion. It’s s beautiful shade! 💛💛💛
Hi Chris, so Chantal is really a completely different style altogether. She is more of a layered shag. One thing with Ashlee is even if you do have a low forehead, pull the wig up behind your hairline and try to blend in your bio hair with root spray. The bangs can also help to hide your natural hairline. I typically do that with most of my basic cap wigs. Good luck to you dear! 💕😊
Hi Paula, I show you in my Heidi review video ... I use a fine tooth comb and get right in there and start lifting it up and over and combing, almost tugging on it to get out the nest look on top. This works great to activate the fibers. Also, get in there with your fingers and scrunch it up on a shorter layered style like Chantal. Hope that helps! 😊
She had some which is great to hold the style but it’s not over the top obnoxious! lol 😆...yes, she would be great for summer, the fibers are very light! 🤗👍💕

Nearly all machine made wefted wigs have permatease. It’s extra short fibers placed near the cap to help disguise wefts and it also gives it lift and volume. Think about how you would tease your bio hair to get lift. Well these are machine teased and done wigs have more than others. I understand because I have the same face and neck shape but...not really getting a real look at the wig...on you. I love this wig in petite size. My side to side and front to back is actually an inch shorter than petite size but wig fits very nicely and I like the extra length on my small head. I’m starting to think about trying this honey shade.
Oh that sounds pretty! And I misspoke here, she is actually SF 10/26 Buttered Toast, just slightly lighter than honey and more of an ash tone. Honey is more of a gold tone. I really love them both! 💕🤗

Thank you! Yes, I like both colors. In my experience it seems like BT and Honey are blonder in the shorter styles but darker in the longer styles. It may have something to do with the way the colors are a gradiant from light to dark. 💛😊💛

Beth, update on my Chantal that I dissed a while back. I played with her, jooged it a bit as you do, and I sewed a couple of the wefts together that were visible and sprayed some rooting spray and trimmed some bangs, put the back up in a ponytail, and she looks wonderful! You can use furniture markers too which are usually permanent or semi-permanent. I love Paula Young wigs' fibers--better than some name-brand ones for sure! And they last longer than some of those name-brands, too!

@@BethsBestHair Beth, I never thought a flatter wig (not totally flat) with bangs, would look good on me but the way this wig frames your face is remarkable and my daughter, who is my biggest and trustworthy fan and critic, made a big fuss on how flattering it looked especially the Pippa wig. Do you apply the dry shampoo while the wig is still wet with the water spritz? I love the color and style on you.
If I’m not filming, I take a new wig out of the box, shake it, put it on, spritz with water and start digging and lifting the fibers up. Take off, shake and hang upside down until dry. Then when you put it back on if it’s still too shiny, add some dry shampoo and work in with your fingers, then add a little root spray if you like! 💕🤗 You only fo that once to a new wig, then it’s always ready to go! 👍 Thank you so much! 💖

Looks cute after you did your magic what kind of l'oreal hair color did you use and you sprayed it all over??? What exactly does that do I always need new tips and I've been wearing for bnb years.
Thanks Melissa. 💕🤗 and I use the light brown, spray the part and then in sections throughout the top. I also spray my bio hair on the sides to blend in together. Works really well and I think it keeps it looking natural! 💕👍

I have a question! Did she hold the volume you put in her? I am having problems with a few of my wigs that does not have permatease or very much permatease in them. When I try to put volume into them it just kind of falls out. Thank you in advance for your answer. Much love my friend💕
Thanks Katie, with the permatease she will hold her style and if it does relax a little, just get your fingers in there and scrunch it up. You can also use a little hairspray to hold the style. Without permatease it will be very difficult to hold a style in a synthetic wig! 🤗💕👍

I am wearing Heidi in SF 12/28 Honey. I had trimmed a bang in Heidi. I love that style. Honey is a very warm tone and I find the longer ones have more defined highlights in my opinion. It’s s beautiful shade! 💛💛💛

Hi Chris, so Chantal is really a completely different style altogether. She is more of a layered shag. One thing with Ashlee is even if you do have a low forehead, pull the wig up behind your hairline and try to blend in your bio hair with root spray. The bangs can also help to hide your natural hairline. I typically do that with most of my basic cap wigs. Good luck to you dear! 💕😊

How do you work out the Permatease?
Hi Paula, I show you in my Heidi review video ... I use a fine tooth comb and get right in there and start lifting it up and over and combing, almost tugging on it to get out the nest look on top. This works great to activate the fibers. Also, get in there with your fingers and scrunch it up on a shorter layered style like Chantal. Hope that helps! 😊

What is permatease?
Nearly all machine made wefted wigs have permatease. It’s extra short fibers placed near the cap to help disguise wefts and it also gives it lift and volume. Think about how you would tease your bio hair to get lift. Well these are machine teased and done wigs have more than others.
