Oh the memories of having a pack of huskies. Many things I don't miss such as the constant fur everywhere. The constant escapes.The constant visits from the dog officer when the dogs had escaped. The yard always looking like Normandy beach on 7 June 1944. Things I do miss: Talking (howling) with them. Playing with them. Their own unique personalities. Most of all I miss the love. Especially my 'Amaruk' He was my "big love". Now the tears flow as I remember him. I miss you Amaruk.
Huskies are definitely not for the serious person. If you want a husky it’s like having a two year old that never grows up. They will keep you entertained that’s for sure but if your materialistic don’t get one lol.... and these dogs I swear love water than any retriever
Huskies either love water or they absolutely despise it. Trainers tell me it's about a 50/50 split. I've fostered two Huskies who absolutely loved the kiddy pool and hose, but my service husky cannot stand anything beyond puddles and rain lol I've taken her to a dog beach, where she's shown she's quite good at swimming, but she simply doesn't like it. She's also a bit weird for a husky, as she's smarter than normal (which means even more trouble, she locks people out of the house if they're getting pizza because she wants it, but knows she can't have any :P) and has absolutely no prey drive (most huskies love to chase cats and squirrels and such, mine treats every cat she meets as her babies, she's already raised 4 kittens now and the cats are super attached to her). Then again, for a husky to be a service dog, they'd have to be a little weird (even by husky standards haha).
When they were used by the Inuit, Huskies and Malamutes would dig in the snow a hole and sleep there. Now you can see the instinct is the same (digging under sheds and houses).
Yeah, I tried to get my husky a nice bed to go in his crate so he could be comfy and cozy. Well, that lasted about 5 minutes. I took it away before he could destroy it. It belongs to the cats now. Also, the bath mat can't be on the floor, it belongs hanging from the shower curtain rod nowadays :( I also had to stuff underbed storage bags under my bed to keep him from living under there. And he's also chewed through 2 leashes (i have a chain one for serious walks but the cloth ones are so much more comfortable for both of us). THIS IS ONE HUSKY I HAVE.
I TOTALLY understand! I have a male husky named winter ❄️ he eats wood, eats bugs, digs holes, chews flowers, super Active, sits on tables, doesn’t like leashes, eats dirt, IS NOT A REGULAR DOG and most importantly IS COMPLETELY DISOBEDIENCE! 🙈

Love your Huskies! We have 4 dogs but only one husky & her name is Kitana too, she is a Princess and knows it! She loves to jump our fence as we back onto a forest and river so she loves to go chase the deer and rabbits. And of course swimming in the river full of muck! Even tho we have a pool for the summer months, Kitana is 4 yrs now and she is still a big baby when it comes to the pool. We have to coax her for an hour to get her to come in and then it’s a quick swim and out, no playing. We rescued a 2 yr old German Shepherd X last year and she loves the water so that has made Kitana go into the pool on her own but mostly to cool off after a long hike or run. But I don’t understand why she will jump in any river no problem but scared of the pool?? Besides the jumping she’s awesome, never had a problem with chewing or wrecking anything in the house but she entertains us alright along with the rest of the crew. Kitana loves watching Husky RUclips videos so keep them coming. Thank you!
those dogs need to run, they want to run.....i used to have huskies, i thought about making a sled from a grocery cart or buying one or making one from putting two skateboards together & teaching them 'Gee" & 'Haw" for left & right....wish you could run your huskies, i'm sure they would appreciate it, they love to run!!! i have german sheperds now, ty for the video
We do take them for runs all the time but only 2 of my 4 like to run the little ones, the bigger too are more laid back even when we go for walks you will always see Dash hanging in the back and Kitana has respiratory problems so she gets out of breath really easy
...? How did he/she get on tge shed roof when there was no tree. Also yep they chew EVERYTHING mines only 12 weeks already destroyed 3 blankets, 2 pairs of shoes, my nice rug, and my coach. Still love him bundles tho. SOO FLUFFY haha

Out of curiosity, when the dogs are being groomed, what is the small brush you are using? I only use a slicker-brush for normal use and a wide round-tooth Fuminator when bathing to work in the shampoo while also picking up loose fur. It seemed to be extremely effective for getting the loose fur out of their undercoat.
they are usually very well behaved keep in mind this is 3 years of footage and my only naughty one most of the time is Mileena lol. Dash and Kitana used to be very naughty to but by the time they were 2 they got so much better :)
too much energy. do you have a sled to work off their spare energy. my friend has one and uses it to pull the grocery home from the shops. dog seems to love the exercise and lines up when he thinks they are going shopping.

It's a den mentality. Huskies are the closest related breed of dog to the Asiatic Wolf, so dark, cool places like underneath a house or an unused shed are the perfect places to go hide and play in.

Suggesting the same animal that would be content sleeping covered in snow and spending it's entire day outside in sub zero temperatures would also be content in 80+ degrees is idiotic. These animals are not meant for hot climates. They never have been. They evolved and we're bred to sleep outdoors and run for miles a day in snow and ice. They are not house dogs.

I own 13 and they sleddogs. What i see in this video is dogs that have too much energy.. This is working dogs that need to work every day if not they get bored.
RIP garden, house, neighbour's ears, fourniture, wallet, tree, kitchen, roof of the shed, plumbing, car, toys, clothes, ... But never our HEARTH!!! :D
