Ngl because of that you can kinda tell Jason was probably never gonna be introduced to the Arkhamverse lol You can tell Hush and Scarecrow were going to be the villains of the story at first from all the obvious setups from City lol
Actually, that wasn't Jason watching, it was Joker. If you use the camera mode in the scene where Jason gets tortured, you can see Joker showing him that exact picture of Batman and Robin, to show Jason that he was already replaced, and break him mentally. EDIT: Actually i'm wrong they just reused the same photo
Jason escaped Arkham with the help of slade during the joker boss fight in Arkham asylum he then proceeded to infiltrate Wayne tower almost immediately I recommend reading the comic is definitely an entertaining read
This thumbnail got me thinking. Imagine if the arkham franchise had a digital animation adaptation with the budget of the latest spider-verse movies? The things batman and Robin can do. Go in depth with Dick and Jason, the transition from Robin to Robin. So many movies and sequels to be had. Seeing the whole bat family working together on screen in that armored arkham style suits. Anything I would give to be a billionare and fund the thing myself. 😆
you can also see his red hood symbol under the red tarp at the right angle, implying that jason was always going to betray scarecrow and start taking villains down after using them to kill batman
I played these games so much that I began speedrunning them. Especially City. & I was 10+ years younger than I am now when I was really addicted to these games Now, older & wiser, the approach I take when playing these games is much slower. I immerse myself into the game, walking around more, not running all over the place trying to get from A to B as fast as possible. instead, I try my best to move the way Batman truly would. & by doing this I have discovered so much lore that I missed out on all the times I would “move a bit faster” throughout the game. It’s good to take ur time & enjoy
Dude, Ik everyone hates SSKTJL, but the fact that they added Batman stalking you throughout Metropolis is absolutely terrifying and I love it. I caught him twice. First time it was a roof top and I saw him just at an angle where his ears were popping out. what I hate about SSKTJL is the fact that the VA's, Game devs and people who make those easter eggs really gave a lot of attention to detail and absolutely killed their roles. The writers decided to mess it over entirely for money.
I know you commented thinking it wasn’t planned out in City, but given the ridiculous amount of cohesion and planning across the trilogy (I’d honestly argue the Arkham Trilogy is the most intelligent and thought-out trilogy of all time) dating back to Asylum, I’d put my money on this being 100% intentional back in City since it’s just barely out of frame and there’s the surveillance sign right there. The Arkham Trilogy team wasn’t fucking around when they set out to craft one of the greatest stories of all time.
However if u go into photo mode and look closely at the picture joker showed Jason in the torture scene, u can see its the same one. I think he likley got the photo from arkham
You may have missed it but the knife stabbed into the photo is the same one the joker held into Rachels and Gambles mouth in The Dark Knight *the real knife was a cupid made by Rob Dalton*
I don’t think Jason was watching us in that scene. In the photo Batman’s cape and suit look in damages yet during that scene in game his suit has sustained some damage, same with his cape. Not only that but that’s the same photo Joker showed Jason in the first scene with Jason and at the time Joker would’ve been in the Steel Mill, dying. Although the photo that Joker showed Jason could he ruled out since it’s probably just Rocksteady being lazy and wanting an easy photo of pre Arkham knight Robin and Batman. Plus the photo is the same Jason was shown so I’m assuming it’s suppose to be the EXACT photo Joker showed him. Course I could be wrong and he could’ve been watching but I highly doubt it.
and i still don't believe that jason was there at this moment sure he was spying on batman but i doubt it was at this moment cause it's the same picture joker's showing him so i think it's only to show that yeah he was watching batman but that's all
@@fw.finley So he actually plays the game like millions of others... What do you just wanna know how many hours everyone has on this game then? Kinda weird lol
He planned to become red hood after killing batman? Why did he help scarecrow gas an entire eaatern coast at ace chemicals, scarecrow failed but he was still helping him.
He chose Crane to build a coalition of supervillains and fund his anti-Batman militia. The plan was to beat Batman by making them all work together. He underestimated Scarecrow's sadistic nature at the chemical plant and he was forced to play along, as his militia depended on the resources provided by the other villains. He probably planned to kill them all after finishing Batman, which didn't happen but may explain why he hunted down Black Mask after the end of the base game.
"You are under close surveillance" - The sign under the water tower was warning us
Good catch!
Such a good detail, even if unintended
Duuuuude wtff
Don't you just love it when details just manage to align like that?
Aaand it's red.
Crazy how both Robins could get into Arkham City, but we couldn’t fly over that wall or go through the sewers
Well Batman didn’t really want to get out and he was too busy to immediately try going straight to Strange.
There was still work to be done in Arkham city
@@Davidscomix Only real ones read this in Batman's voice

Yeah lmaoooo. He also voiced Two-Face, Joker in Origins and Batman in Telltale.

they just used the same photo, arkham knight was active (comics only) during the events of arkham city
That scene took place in Arkham Asylum while the photo was from Arkham City. They just reused a photo because that doesn't add up.
Jason escaped from Arkham during the events of Asylum, he was already free during City

Azreal did the same thing in city, I’ll let Ssktjl have this one because it has barely anything
SSKTJL is not an Arkham game by any means as much as the publishers would have people believe.
that is the best part of the whole game

I wish they thought so much ahead that you could go back and find some traces of Jason having observed the scene. Now that would be an Easter egg!
Well there's that sign directly in front of the water tower that says you're being watched, if that was intentional that's crazy
There's no evidence here..." Yeah, because Jason does not mess around.
My goodness the interconnecting is insane in this series
Arkham Knight and Origins are finally getting the appreciation they deserve!
Im guessing Jason was somehow INSIDE the water tower, maybe had a cloaking device to hide from Bruces detective mode?

In the prequel comic to Knight Jason would’ve killed Bruce in the Steel Mill if Joker hadn’t stopped him.
