But the God of the Kingdoms
And God of the Nations
The God of Creation sent this revelation
Through the homeless and penniless Jesus the son
the poor will inherit
the Kingdom to come
Where will we turn when our world falls apart and all of the treasures we’ve stored in our barns can’t buy the Kingdom of God?
And who will we praise when we’ve praised all our lives men who build kingdoms and men who build fame but heaven does not know their names?
And what will we fear when all that remains is God in the throne
with a child in His arms and Love in His eyes and the sound of His heart cry

Could it be that you are truly one of my forever family? Your songs rang throughout the Arizona desert as you accompanied me into my full exile from family (parents, siblings, children) for taking this Jesus thing way too seriously. Indeed, worldly poverty = eternal riches. I know not one person in my life, like with Lot, who is of my forever family. Just by your words l think you may be one. I salute all who have carried their crosses and honored our King in this desolate place that is not our real home. I cannot wait to meet you. Keep your eyes on the moon towards the end of next week and consider what time, through prophecy, that this particular one represents.

is it poverty though in spirit not homeless and poor ?
I reference the rich young ruler here. If he was poor in spirit he would have seen that no matter how many possessions he had, they weren't just worthless, but were literally the chasm between him and eternal life. If we are poor in spirit the money and things are God's for His glory instead of a store house protecting in case of calamity. As far as the homeless reference; this is not our home. We are not of this world. We are exiles looking for a city whose founder and maker is God. We are homeless until the day we are reunited with Jesus.
