Well, this game is truly from pre-Treasure era. It reminds me so much to Gunstar Heroes. Music ,especially credits, reminds me of a final boss theme, and even stage VII & VIII background is actually used as GH stage VI boss lair.

creekandseminole They say that it is because the copyright claim and stuff because some of those are licenced from other companies.But even without them konami had their own awesome games just for the heck i mention some of their games they could release in a cool bundle like that you mentioned.Sunset riders,mystic wariors,violent storm,venteta,crime fighters,metamorphic force,surprize atack,gaiapolis and keeps going.Capcom,taito,midway made some great bundles for consoles but konami made collections mostly based in specific series.Like cradius,tween bee,and parodious.Those only the ones i discovered and only made their way through portables like psp.I also believe they are morons because they could pull it out with those other companies as well.

That would be far easier said than done because of the licensing issues involved (which in all likelihood is the biggest reason many of these game never got console ports to begin with. )

Knew about the NES game, but not this. Would have killed to play this when I was about 6. They kind of messed up the boss order a little though, I think. Toadborg was the Darth Vader of Bucky O'Hare, and Komplex was the Palpatine. Sadly the Toadborg bosses were a total joke, and Toad Air Marshal, the comic relief, was treated as more important. Also, Al Negator as the first boss was dumb, as they had to resort to much less well-known characters later on, maybe even made some up (Never heard of Cyborg Spider or whatever, unless he was in the original comic). One more note: They took the design of Komplex from the original comics rather than the cartoon for sure, as he looked completely different here. He had a kind of polygonal toad face in the cartoon, rather than the green screen evil face here.
50 min it took to play for this arcade? I wonder how many quarters it munched on if the kid was planning to play this. I have a friend who had a big jar with quarters when playing the Simpson game with his brother in the arcade once.
I love this game , finished it on arcade with one coin as jenny cause her blades ( using 2 buttons she was making laser blades running around her and killing nearby enemies and you could use it infinite unlike the special power that is limited ) were best . She and duck were the best to choose to finish this game easier

Lo único malo de esta entrega es que no respetaron las habilidades especiales del equipo (versión NES): Super salto, vuelo con mochila cohete, adhesión a muros, la esfera energética, disparo que rompe material, disparo tridireccional, disparo láser cargado. :/ O hubieran puesto nuevas habilidades, atenuado por el nuevo personaje que añadieron.
