I love Simon using his real-world business experience to try to give advice here. And being ignored.
Simon wanted to gouge all the prices because he thinks every city is as expensive as NYC.

Even if I hadn't managed in grocery for 10 years before I started managing restaurants...I have had to buy things and there are literally news stories about some of the items they were pricing....yes it's a game...but Simon was the only one who appeared to even been in a grocery store lol. 💙🐯🧡💜💜

Ok, any dad who obsesses over the _electric bill_ should know better than to put a fridge unit next to the outside door or uncovered window where the sun hits it. 😑
Also..ALL grocery stores have a basic layout for big categories ....the middle is different but it's literally based on psychological studies so people have to walk a certain way to get basics and usually may only go in for apples and shredded cheese...you have many aisles b/t those items. most stores are PRODUCE/BAKERY DELI(these are sometimes switched) Then...MEAT/SEAFOOD/DAIRY/BREAD. In the stores I ran we even had 'Ambience Radio" which was store specific for a store demographic and even different songs for different times ....sorry, I find it interesting all these studies were done and the guys can't properly put things on shelves lol😊
I can't believe I just watched something for an hour and fifteen minutes, that I used to get paid to do it for 8 hrs a day and I hated it 😂 but this was just delightful, and mildly traumatic. At least these customers dont yell at you for nothing and tell you their life story while blocking the line 😂
Taking me back to when I was a gas station cashier 😅 I've been playing this game and hired a slow AF npc cashier but i keep another register so i can jump on and work down the lines while I'm trying to restock. Just like old times.
Me Screaming, "RIGHT CLICK ON THE MONEY IN THE DRAWER TO TAKE IT BACK!!!" I have never seen an entire team so deficient in perception... -100!
I don't usually care to much about that sort of thing but this was painful I was pointing and yelling at the screen so much

Been playing this game now for 2 weeks, and I love it. I was hoping I'll watch yall play and maybe learn a new trick or tip, but I was sitting here watching you play while I was playing screaming at the TV. "YOU'RE DOUNG IT WRONG!!" in my game I have everything organized. Making 5k a night. It's fun. I can't wait for the update.

Them acting as if the market price is the price at which they bought it or something.. surely you can just price slightly below market price and get way more customers? You'll still turn a profit on it.

After working retail for 11 years, I thought I did everything wrong in my first episode of this. Watching you guys makes me feel both good AND bad because while I actually had a well balanced store, You guys were WAAAY more entertaining. and like Russell Crow as Achilles said "That is why no one will remember *my* name". But i'm gonna keep trying, I'll get somewhere someday or unalive trying. PS I only said the Unalive thing so my comment didn't get immediately banned lol.

Watched this and went home and bought the game. I love watching old reruns of supermarket sweep so this was right up my aisle. Bad part is my 6 yo is constantly yelling at me to give him a turn.

This vid made me try this game. I cannot believe how addicted I've become. As someone that typically plays RPGs, Survival games, and RTSs, I don't even understand why I find it so fun. But I really do!
