- The best way to explore the Portugal cliffs is by hiking. You can hike from Praia da Luz to Porto de Mos and it only takes 1.5 hours.
The trail starts East of Praia da Luz and the views are incredible. This trail is also great for running, mountain biking, and is even great for overnight camping.

@@pinayworldtraveler I carried around some allergy meds, originally from Costco :D They helped but it was such a dusty and windy area, it was hard to control.
We have not been to Portugal for years. It is on our list of places to go back to. This video gives us one more reason to want to go 🥰.

I am hoping to visit Portugal next year so it's cool I came across this. Lucky you had dry weather, I imagine it would be a very different hike if it were wet and muddy.
I lived in the Algarve for the summer last year. Most days were sunny! I think they get over 300 days of sunshine. :)

Yes, it's better to hike earlier in the day or in the evenings. It gets way too hot!
What a lovely day for hiking. Wow, that trail is rougher than it looked from far away. Is there a smoother trail for the bikes or do they use this one as well? Oooh, the beach views are beautiful!!! Love this. I can't believe how few people are there! That water is so clear. Thanks for the tips on the cities as well. Def need to add this to my bucket list :)
Bikes ride the same trail but I went up a different way in the beginning, there is another trail just to the left. It's definitely a less frequented area, most people are lying on the beach!

I lived in the Algarve last summer. It was so nice! Good place to try surfing too.
Portugal is still in our travel bucket, for some reason we never make to go, but from what we see in your videos, it really worth it! Nice hike, shorter than expected but the landscape is so incredibly beautiful! The colour of the sea is spectacular, is the water cold?
The water is stunning here. The water is usually cold but starts to warm up around August. A lot of surfers wear wet suits.
