I think China Airlines A350 has the most beautiful and well-designed cabin. Business Class looks so elegant!

I think China Airlines has a self-service snack bar in the back of the plane, on their long haul flights, even in economy class. I guess that allows the cabin crew to rest, while most of the passengers sleep on these ultra long flights.

I had a great experience with China Airlines when I went to Vienna in 2017.. good food, great cabin and cabin crews.

Last time I flew on CAL in Dec. 2019, also there was no beverage/snack service between the two meals.
I'm glad you pointed this out bc I thought it was coincidental that it only happened on my flight. Now I realize it was no coincidence.
That's a big No-No on a 14-hour flight with no snacks or beverage service on such a long flight.
Of course now during the age of Covid, you're just lucky to make it to your destination without catching anything sick during your flight.
Wow! 14 hours in Economy Class. That's a super long flight but the A350 is probably my number choice for a flight like this. Isn't the livery beautiful? ☝🏽
Yes the aircraft is perfect for a long flight like this. Or even the A380 would do well.

Your so lucky that you went on a A350-900 to Taipei! I went on a China Airlines Boeing 777-300(ER) which is bigger than the A350-900 but the A350-900 is my favorite plane

9:12 Awesome shot of the A380s! , they are one of my favourite planes.
China Airlines will always be my favorite airline. From learning about how they did in the 80s-early 2000s, its amazing to see just how great their doing now. Sucks they retired their 747s, but the a350 looks beautiful!

No not every lounge has showers and sometimes you even have to pay extra. So went to a lounge where that service was free.

In half a year im going for a two week trip to china with my whole mandarin class and the flights fourteen hours so this gave me a little heads up what to expect thx ✈️
Have a good time there. Remember to take an additional bottle of water from the airport on the plane
Nice review. I love the Business Class design of China Airlines! Would be interested to know if there was a snack/drink bar for Economy Class passengers to use between meal services. I know that there is one for Business Class. One question for you, wasn't a RTW(Round The World)fare available for purchase when you made your reservations? I bought one years ago on Singapore Airlines and TWA and it was a great bargain! Take care and Happy Travels! ♥️🛫🌐

I never looked how much all flights would be together... maybe it could have been cheaper but i had some special routes and more than one Alliance to fly on...

14 hours, I did that in a 777 once on China Southerns JFK to Guangzhou route
China Southern is from Mainland China,and China airlines is a Taiwanese national airlines.

I don't know how much exactly. But the flights were around 2000€ as I booked them all separately with different airlines/alliances.

16:30 -- I wonder if your flight ran out of breakfast and gave you dinner leftovers because those chicken noodles you were served is not breakfast. The choice is usually congee or an omelette.
Maybe. But even then - the meals had similar contents but didn't look the same - so there was a difference.
Also i am happy to have gotten that over your suggested choices - didn't like the congee on my Air China flights (Frankfurt Catering) and omlette is mostly dreadful in Economy 😅
@@PlaneSpottingBerlin I guess, to each their own. Haha. But I know for fact you should not be getting chicken noodles for breakfast. I have flown this route for YEARS and at least for breakfast, the choices are always the same. Congee or an omelette.
Maybe it is different on which of the 2 daily flights you arrive on? Departure in LAX was 3 p.m. and arrival into Taipei was 9:30 p.m. (not really breakfast time, is it?).
@@PlaneSpottingBerlin I have taken that same time slot many times, as well as the ONT-LAX (back when the airline serviced Ontario Intl in Ontario, CA) -- the breakfast has never changed for over a decade. And flights serve meals based off the time zone of origin, so even if you are landing at night in TPE, it's morning in LA, so they serve based off that.
