    Lived in Florida 19 years and went through so many hurricanes. Now live on the coast of Yucatan. I had forgotten how interesting hurricane coverage can be, Thank you so much for doing such an excellent coverage with precise information. I so much appreciate you and your professionalism.

    I follow Mr. Weatherman and he's fantastic but this was probably the most informative weather video I have ever seen. I dont live in Florida, but wow, I wish this guy was my local meteorologist. ❤ truly awesome.

      I’m in the foothills of western Carolina, they are gonna steer this storm to right up into us. We didn’t get any warning last time . Most of us woke up to disastrous winds and flooding winds

      It could be Texas, ( Harvey), Louisiana, ( Katrina) Mississippi ( Camille, Betsy, Katrina) Alabama... ( Don't have any names handy), but just so you get the picture, ALL of us close to the Gulf Coast are in danger of this every year...

      @@christheghostwriter a valid question. Search the Holy Scriptures and it will reveal how man’s sin has caused man’s problems. Not trying to convince you of anything - read, take a look at the history of Israel and what’s going on there now, look around at the state of the world then you will either know why or you won’t. My prayer is that you understand❤️

    This storm is probably closest to 1988's Gilbert that had the lowest pressure of any sea-level hurricane measurement at 888 mb.

    I have been watching Tim for YEARS! Since he was in Virginia. Followed him over to Khou & now here BECAUSE HE IS THOROUGH. Please open your ears & eyes instead of trying so hard to critique where critiquing is NOT needed. He said Rita was the most intense hurricane at 895 while in the GULF OF MEXICO in the satellite era! Wilma was at 882 mbs in the Caribbean/Atlantic on October 19th 2005. (Record low) Look that up since yall like Google so much. So he was CORRECT. 🥳 Don’t worry.. I’ve got your back Tim!

      Wilma never got enough attention as she was eclipsed by Katrina news. Wilma went from west to east coast and hit east coast as a cat 2. A lot of these forecasters seem to be ignorant to this possibility

      @@tool_fighter Yeah Katrina really made the rest of that hurricane season forgotten. Rita and Wilma were monster storms, and Dennis was also a powerful cat 4 hurricane. Heck, some people even forget about Katrina’s first landfall near Fort Lauderdale.

    Storm surges are no joke. Never underestimate the destruction they can cause. We experienced a 15-foot storm surge on Siargao Island, Philippines, in 2021. The devastation was indescribable. Stay safe, Florida residents, and get away from the coast while you still can.

    they show it going to Tampa ...but due to the size.... the eywall will hit Port Charlotte. It NEEDS to go north atleast 50 miles

    Picking up the ocean and will reach a cat 5 at land fall as the sun has warmed up the sea water striking land with a Cat 5 as the ocean is quite warm keeping it high, and will pick up speed towards land

      Thank you for saying it!! I am 15 miles west of where it hit. Our gulf coast and inland was destroyed!! My whole family is on the MS COAST and my daughter and niece lost everything in Biloxi and ocean Springs. Had the levees in NOLA not failed they would not have seen the damage we had.
