I have missed your show the last couple of weeks as my poor mother is in hospital and I nearly lost her but her heart kept going which is very fortunate because she was so ill after coming back from a holiday that she was unconscious on the plane back and a GP and nurse were on the plane and knew she had to be lowered off the plane straight into an ambulance and straight to hospital and that saved her life. It’s nearly two weeks later and she is recovering after me and my family were told to be prepared for her death which was truly horrific. I am more hopeful now and catching up on your channel and others. I do know the UK’s NHS system is being torn apart with things like a lack of experienced doctors and nurses and for 6 days someone was with her 24 hours a day as they are overworked understaffed and mistakes happen and we made sure they didn’t forget to do their job and keep my mum alive. wars are more important than caring for people.
So sorry about your mom, glad she is recovering. Instead of spending more on healthcare, we spend on wars. I teach adults English so my students are from many different countries. They cannot believe our medical and dental costs here in the U.S., the richest country in the world.

Sabby! Anyway you can cover what’s happening in Arkansas with the abortion amendment? Secretary of State John thurston lied about documents he received. It was later found out, once he was foiad 3 times, that he had all of the documents needed to put the abortion amendment on the ballot. The story is still unfolding as this occurred this week but it needs more attention!
