    Lovely in general, and amazing attention to detail, except for one thing! I kept wondering when you were going to realize that they didn't have metal downpipes on common houses in those days. >>In the 1700s wooded gutters were carved from logs and pieces of wood and attached to homes and other buildings with iron brackets. In order to improve effectiveness, downspouts were added. Gutters not only served an important function for property owners in the 1700s but they were also viewed as an architectural enhancement throughout the world.

      Hello Josh, can you please put the time stamp of where I did the technique ?

    • @Flewda
      @Flewda 3 года назад +3

      @@REDOUANENAOURI Thanks for the response. I actually saw it done in another Photo Manipulation video where it was done in real time. One of those "Oh, duh!" moments that I should have realized. Basically, you turn the radius way up in the refine mask window, then bump up the contrast to give a nice, noisy breakup (based on the photo) to an otherwise sharp mask border. Very smart. Never thought to do that before. Works great!

    • @REDOUANENAOURI
      @REDOUANENAOURI 3 года назад +1

      @@Flewda I'm so glad to know you figured out how it works, also an extra tip try to add a bit of smoothness around around 0 to 3 (depends on the work size) don't leave it too sharp.
