Honoring Our Commitment: Blue Grass Chemical Weapons Stockpile Destruction

The Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (BGCAPP) destroyed the last chemical agent-filled munition at the Blue Grass Army Depot on July 7, 2023. BGCAPP began chemical weapons destruction in June 2019 and destroyed more than 101,000 rockets and projectiles containing mustard agent or nerve agents, GB or VX.
