The First "27": The Coach Eddie George Era
Follow along as the former Tennessee Titan great Eddie George arrives home in Nashville, TN to begin the process of preparing for the official press conference announcing him as the next head football coach at Tennessee State University.
Episode 1 begins with Coach George's arrival back in Nashville, greeted by TSU Athletics Director, Dr. Mikki Allen, and TSU Big Blue Sports Network Executive Producer, AG Granderson. The excitement builds as George greets his wife and family, and leave the airport for a night of rest before the big day.
The next morning, less than 3 hours away from the press conference, the soon-to-be head coach talks with AG from his Brentwood home in front of the Heisman Trophy and many other priceless awards from his storied collegiate and professional career. The two discuss George's days as a college standout, the coaches who poured into him and his development, and what it will mean to hoist a championship trophy at Tennessee State.
