The older I get the more I like and appreciate load and reload, slowly becoming some of my favorite albums
Same here. Used to dismiss it without hearing a single note. Then suddenly I was like fuck it ill give it a go and fell in love with both of them. Same with St.Anger and Lulu.

Highly underated song, one of my favorites
I love this song because it hits home. It's about James' dad and how his dad's devotion to Christianity rather than seek medical attention for his mother is what got his mother killed. James had a hard time dealing with it all (the pins jabbing him throughout the song) and it took him decades to forgive his dad.
Song’s pretty good, the Load/Reload era of Metallica is pretty good as well with some really fun stuff. It’s also good for beginner guitar players to learn and get better too.
"There's three minutes left? What could they possibly still add to this track" is something that applies to a lot more Metallica songs than I think most folks will admit lmao
