      If it was "one of", then by the sound of it that was a Scenicruiser; the implication of this video is that there was only one GX-2, a prototype.

      You had the GM PD4501, the final design Scenicruiser for which 1001 were produced for Greyhound Lines. The GX-2 was a one off prototype design.

      @@suddenlysolo2170 buses with out sourced components nothing like when GM and Greyhound got together that along with the GM locomotives and the S.S. United States cruise liner were the hallmarks of a motivated post war generation Along with cutting edge air travel

    That first seat on the top tier was the coveted seat. Awesome place to watch the world go by.

    Only the US could name a bus 'Scenicruiser' - so great, as in europe it would most likely have been letters and numbers!

    I think country singer Tammy Wynett
    used one of these in the early 1970's as a tour bus. 1973ish(?)

    The GX--2 had two rear windshield wipers, which the Scenicruiser didn't have. That logo in the front looked like a Flxible one though.

      I wonder if Flxible is still in business. They built a lot of buses.

      @@DTD110865 this was late 65. I remember that there were these cardboard cut outs that were given to kids that were cereal box type they could put together. Like our Tri Met buses here in Portland.

    With everything gm was designing in the truck market, and their ownership of Detroit Diesel, I wish they'd just fused Detroit GMC and Chevy's trucks into a single division that could sustain their innovation
