    Hexahedra is an open-ended programming puzzle game, where you fill a factory with a variety of devices and program them to work together to produce the required cubes.
    The grid command system allows you to create complex loops, and lasers and proximity sensors allow you to branch the logic flow. Pull apart and reassemble cubes, merge them, paint them, teleport them, set fire to them, add payloads, and ship them off to the customer.
    Cubes have become the galaxy’s most important commodity, being used as crates, musical instruments, octopus housing, sculptures, even coffins. Use your cube-designing skills to work your way up to a ticket to Earth and a post at the most prestigious cube fabricator, Hexahedra Inc.
    As you play, dig into rumours that some cubes are being used for sinister purposes, and deal with an array of oddly aquatic requests received on damp paper in strange ink.
    Beautiful Efficiency
    Hexahedra encourages you to find ways to optimize your solutions, whether that be making them run faster or with fewer components. The full game's leaderboards will allow you to compare your performance both with your friends and globally.
    Time Travel
    When you're hunting around to work out why a solution is failing or you're looking for ways to improve your factory, Hexahedra allows you to rewind time and rewatch what the factory was up to in the past.
    This allows you to avoid the cycle of repeatedly restarting a run from the beginning and trying to spot the crucial moment before it flies past.
    Create and share your own levels
    Although it's not yet available in the demo, Hexahedra will include a built-in level editor and Steam Workshop support, allowing you to create and share your own puzzles.
    Accessibility
    Hexahedra already includes some accessibility features:
    A colourblind mode that overlays symbols onto coloured panels to make them easier to differentiate. Tooltips for devices also indicate their colour where it's relevant (e.g. Spray Painters and Lasers).
    A single-click mode, so that it's not necessary to hold the mouse down while dragging.
    Large text size (minimum 36pt).
    Accessibility features are set on a per-profile basis, so different players can configure them to their liking.
    I'll be using resources such as GameAccessibilityGuidelines.com, and gathering feedback from players during development, as I work out how to improve accessibility even more.
    What's the funding for?
    I'm a solo developer, and although I can handle all the coding and game design what I can't do is produce the assets - 3D models, UI artwork, music, sound, etc.
    I've already worked with several freelancers to produce the assets you can see in the demo, but there are a few things the game still needs before it's complete.
    The main thing currently missing is that the game has no sound effects, but there are also a few extra models and some 2D artwork.
    I'll be up-front: I do have enough funding left to finish the game, but getting hold of some of the revenue now rather than waiting until Hexahedra releases will make life easier.

      Thanks! As I write this it's 180% funded! We're now heading towards the stretch goal of funding an additional environment in the game.
