I really like the name. The story behind it is really interesting. Really sounds like something I will like and can use during long nights of studying.
Awesome video, i just wanted to say keep up the good work. You introduced me to puerh tea not too long ago and i love it, its such an amazing taste and it makes me feel relaxed, peaceful and happy. It is truly amazing
I just ordered my first PuErh cake from you a few days ago. Too bad I didn't wait a couple days because this definitely would have been in the running! 💕 I went with Jungle Starlet, but seriously considered Bling Rock Kingpin.
It almost feels like the artwork was made for me 😂 My birthday was yesterday and Capybaras (and Guinea Pigs) are my favorite animals 😍 I spend the weekend at a festival as my birthday present, but I can give myself another present, right? 🤣
I just tried to get my first gaiwan today to replace my spoon and cup method but your website won’t take my payment method or something. Now I’m searching Amazon but I don’t trust any of the ones in my 20$ price range. thank you for teaching me so much about tea. When I get a job I’ll be sure to purchase some tea ware and tea I want to try a white tea extremely bad.
If you’re trying to use PayPal you might have to use the exact same address as in your PayPal account to the letter and point. It might be compared at point of login already. If App confirmation isn’t working just use sms TAN.
Hello! Pardon my naitovity, but how long can it last? I bought one and I just want to make sure I make it within the time I should drink it. Also, I love your videos! I’ve learned so much from them!
It doesn't have a time limit really so long as its properly stored, no excess humidity, not in sunlight and definitely not above the stovetop where it will absorb the food aromas and humidity. People have found old tea in their attic that's at least 100 years old and is just fine
Thank you for the information! I just received the package (I’m in Dallas, Tx). I received it in 4 days. This is my first Puerh tea. He mentioned not to drink it in the evening, so I will just have to wait until the morning to taste it. It took me one great hour to carefully break it apart. This is an art! I’m excited!!
@@victormoreno7589 I'd agree with not drinking it in the evening. I work nights at a restaurant and if I drink at 2a.m. I wont sleep until 7 or 9 a.m. even though I'm convinced that it's more to do with habit than caffeine because there have been times where I was tired and had a good session that I zonked out right away. Also I should add that I've tried to replicate the experiment where the tea is left broken for a month vs drink right from the cake and put back and repeat. Let me tell you it's no joke. I shared that explains with my mother and sister and we all experienced it. They where like completely different teas! After resting it loses that aggresive punchines and becomes more smooth and mellow tasting. Replicate the experiment yourself, you've probably seen the video on puerh storage how to, drinking and storage compressed vs loose. It's good stuff. P.s. Being in the U.S. check out crimson lotus tea run by Glen, he's got a spot in the U.S. with lower price points generally and shipping for you will not be a problem. They have a YT channel as well
@@reubenk1615 Thanks for the advice! And yes, I’ve been watching him nonstop. I’m almost done watching all of his videos. I tasted it at work and loved it. I hope it stays tasting like this. He said it had all these different flavors, but I mainly tasted nutty/pecans. His description was different than I imagined. It is probably me taste buds. My noobie tea taste buds have a lot to learn. I’m a teacher and my kids definitely noticed a difference in me today.
@@reubenk1615 I think this guy started out enthusiastic, but his stuff is all over the place. Not sure if he is legit. He possibly could, but he does not seem too organized. Maybe he his, but this chancel has spoiled me. I feel like I learned so much more within 24 hours with this channel than with crimson lotus tea. I’m not discrediting him at all. I have not had his tea. I am simply saying that Mei Leaf is a more informative channel. I still definitely try good tea at some point.
This is a unique and an intriguing tea, however I found it rather difficult to brew right. It seems like it's rather sensitive to water, and requires a longer infusion with very hot water to "wake up". I find it kind of lacks the taste which I enjoy in raw puers. I drank a lot of it trying to figure it out. Sweetness is definitely appealing, and there's is something evasive. But I can't say I enjoyed every cup like I did with Shimmer Bliss Roady, for example. Maybe just not my cup of tea...
Sounds like a winner and a great autumn companion. The color is just something else. Almost like IRN BRU in the way it is so thirst-quenching.
adding images was a great idea; that way it requires less attention in order to follow the taste & aroma description
just add all flavours imaginable to the tasting notes. those discriptions of the teas are outright ridiculous. but entertaining.
If it's good enough for the largest rodent on earth, it's good enough for me. Deal me in, Capybara.
And me do you want to team up against the capybara

Sounds like a treat! 55% seems really low for ageing though, more like maintaining. I’ve cranked mine up to 67 recently because 62 was too slow
It was between 55 and 68 RH actually
@@MeiLeaf ahh okay, thought I heard 55-60
Yeah I said it incorrectly
Okay I gave in and bought a cake! I am sooo tea weak! Session time y’all.

I also have a big pouch of B.A.D. coming, because I tried a taster and fell in love !
The hype is real
no wayyy so pumped for this
Literally just got the last sampler of this, and can't wait to try it… 爱生普洱茶。
great! when are you going to have a yixing teapot again?

Ha! Is it the one we tasted together October 2019, Don?
I can't recall if it was this one or Presence Collector
Hello Petra! How is your part of the World? (Joseph Troyer here)
@@joetexas1546 hey Joe! Not too bad here :-) I think Don should do a life soon right? 😁
A real tea taste master, who would haved that there are such people.
Such a rarity to find someone with such a facility with language describing the go to woah. I don't even drink tea. But I will now. 😁

make sure your first white tea is a high quality silver needle;) one of the best tea experiences one can have imo
I’m trying a Walmart card
@@kaspermuje9597 any recommendations?
I can resist anything but temptation.
Sounds like you're pointedly moving away from the phrase 'tea drunk'. I don't blame you, though the literal translation will always be there :)
