I've watched them since 2010 and one of the things I've come to realize in the past 2 weeks is: what they have supersedes any marriage/friendship/partnership. I think saying "being in a relationship" (romantic) would diminish what they have. I think it goes way beyond that. They say the connection they have on the ice is "acting" well, if actors and actresses hook up after ONE movie, they've been together 20 years. That says it all. If you watch them together on and off the ice, it's the little things that make a couple "a couple". It's the touches, the caresses, like when he was fixing her eyebrow, or the clasp on her dress...etc. THOSE are the things that show... I think they probably didn't pursue a "romantic" relationship for fear of it interfering with their performance on the ice.....and I have yet to hear of either of them ever going out on a date with anyone else....so, suppose now their competition life is over, 1 week apart and they'll discover that they can't live without one another.....
I did not know them and I am from another country, but I was impressed with the chemistry of the two I do not know they are excellent "actors" if it is due to the time they know each other but interesting in my country we joke that there is no friendship between men and women Straight, and the fact that they're candians is also impressive but it's obviously not a criticism but the citizens of Canada are known to be colder. And They're both the opposite of that. They've conquered people from other nationalities.
its most likely bc they've been skating the whole time, their mind has been so preoccupied. but i think these kind of videos showcases their own bodies way of showing their attraction towards eachother without actually being a couple. and their friendship is so good i wouldnt be so sure to risk it all for a relationship either. maybe along the lines somewher ein life if they decide to risk it i hope it does last forever, bc i cant imagine them not being this close.

He seems to have matured a great deal since 2014 when their "reality show" aired. He's mellowed out and learned to better control his frustration, and he's so much more appreciative of Tessa. milkweedlake totally agree with your comments...l saw a presentation they did ( a TED talk) where they discussed the numerous surgeries Tessa had and how basically they didn't talk with one another during that time period and then when they did see one another they were virtually strangers with each other...Any talk of a comeback wouldn't have been possible without good communication skills so they had to start from scratch....a cute thing was Scott saying when they began skating as kids they barely didn't talk with each other for a couple of years! yet when you see old videos it was clearly evident that as skating partners there was something magical between them...maybe trying to keep their personal relationship out of the public's eye allowed them to focus entirely on their comeback
the moment at 3:03 when Scott's back hurt and couldn't do the lift and tessa "fell" he still carried her that she's not hurt too and then he drove away. he's so caring...
You two are so incredibly moving and beautiful to watch. I heard you were not a couple, wow! with your chemistry, WHY THE HELL NOT!!! You have been together longer then most married couple's and the flirting and the shy glaces are so beautiful to watch.
