Disney: Fantasmic! (15th Anniversary & Glow With The Show Premiere)

For the first year of Disney's Hollywood Studios' existence the park went without an evening show. It was not until May 29th 1990 that the Sorcery in the Sky firework display premiered. This ran until October 1998. Fantasmic! originally premiered on the Rivers of America in Disneyland on May 13th 1992, but the same area in the Magic Kingdom was not conducive to receiving the necessary changes leading to a new plan. On October 15h, 1998 Fantasmic! made it's east coast debut with a brand new custom built amphitheater at the Hollywood Studios. It has been operating in the park ever with only minor changes since then.
On October 15th 2013 the show celebrated it's 15th anniversary. To mark the occasion Disney premiered a new technology known as Glow With The Show on the east coast for the first time. Originally premiering a year earlier as part of World of Color in Disney's California Adventure, Glow With The Show allows guests to purchase special Mickey Ears that change colors in sync to the show. This video was filmed on that day!

quick ? regarding the intro at the gate? was the audio from that video, because I saw the one on the Electrical Parade video and although that one said Magic Kingdom while this one said Hollywood Studios the guy's voice at check-in sounded EXACTLY the same in both.

While down their I recorded my entry into each of the parks several times. It's usually such a quick thing though that most of the shots were too short, too shaky, or just not right. The video that I finally picked to use for all of the intros is the same one. It was filmed while entering the Magic Kingdom one morning. I then used Apple's Motion application to manually create an arched path that I had to key frame along with the video's motion. The text was then placed on that path and I used a gradient rectangle that I key framed to the light as a mask to create the text effect. It's the same audio and video for each opening though, just a different park's name in the title.
