SENIOR GOLFERS : The BEST golf advice you’ll ever watch. HOW to gain CLUB FACE CONTROL

  • In this video I explain the importance of stabilising your club face and more importantly how to achieve it. Once you understand Newtons law of physics which is equal and opposite in reaction equals stability. Controlling your club face is key to improving your direction and consistency. If you struggle to hit the golf ball straight then you need to get this right as it works like magic
This needs practising but once you get it your ball striking will go from strength to
    strength.

I have just got used to using Julian's FAST HANDS video lesson which I found very helpful.
This video on using equal pressure to stabilise the club makes sense.
After the fast hands ,I tried to get my right , lower hand moving faster than the left & it worked.
Obviously equal pressure with both hands is CORRECT.
Should I continue to get my right, lower hand to move faster than my left hand?
I hope Julian will be able to advise me.
It amazes me how many things can go wrong in golf.
After a year's break from playing doubles tennis ,due to poor health, I can still hit 7 out of 10 shots playing the ball behind my back.
I naturally seem to get into position with tennis & definitely DO NOT REQUIRE ANY SWING THOUGHTS.
I JUST DIO IT. I have played tennis for 70 years & only 28 years of golf.
    I really appreciate Julian's advice.

I heard Rory describe squeezing the towel feel on his grip, so I tried it where I could feel each hand rotate towards each other. Straightened out my drives, fairway woods and improved my trajectory! I found your video to explain why it worked so the improvement lasts. Kudos, I understand it better now and will work on this with my other clubs.

Thank you for this response Alan. Honesty is my best policy. I wanted to play in Profesional Tournaments to test myself and see what I will learn. Already I’m making great strides forward. The mental side of the game is challenging under pressure and learning to cope with this is a side you forget when you don’t play. I know that the way I coach and how I help golfers will only go from strength to strength. It’s easy to hide away but whose going to learn from that. Not me that’s for sure. 👍
