I want wing stabilizers like they make for the WRX, its soo shakey on the highway. I see some on Etsy for the hatchback but none for the sedan, it says "made to fill" which on Etsy normally means 3d printed. Which got me thinking, i can probably make a cardboard prototype to get dimensions, then i can build it in blender and have it 3d printed.

Literally bought the inguinity ones you got too. Had to get a replacement. Then returned replacement as well. The locks on on these tail lights are slightly off just enough where I couldn’t install my bulb housing at all. Even with forcing it quite a bit.
Hey bro no cap. I was trying to tackle that brake light job just a few days ago. I was on Amazon trying to replace it with LEDs but I kept getting different fitments which never fits lol. But yea, this would be tight for the 93s if they have them. Anyway great job on this. I especially like them during start ups.
Same! No bulb fits on the e93 pre LCI. You have to replace the whole entire bulb housing if you need to change the brake lights or reverse lights. Meanwhile the e90 and e92 can be changed out to LEDs. Sucks for us e93s. I did change the turn signal bulb to LED red at least and it looks much better. amzn.to/3DcDATZ

Try just removing those plastic pieces at the end since they won’t fit the taillights anyway. Should fit a lot better aster that. There are two on each side. Pop them off with a pry tool.
Good video. I have a 2016 honda civic ex and i replaced the rear reflector with sequential turn signal and brake leds and now.im installing the tail lights u posted about. I took the old stock lights off and tried to plug and play with housing on the new tail light and found that the plugin didnt fit for the new brake light housing. So should i replace the housing that came in.the new light with the old housing? Also since its led u just unplug all the bulbs and plug the ribbon in the bulb spot instead? Thanks.

hey, i recently just installed these tail lights and a concern i am having is that the fire breathing does not always occur when I first start the car and instead just activates both the turning signals sometimes. Any suggestions or tips to activate fire breathing at all starts?

mine used to do the animation when i unlocked or started my car. now it doesn't do the animation at all, but everything else works fine. i've tried every position on the headlight knob and it still doesn't do the animation. do u have any idea how to fix this?
Where did u buy/get the trunk wing/spoiler? Bought one for sons 2016 Civic EX sedan and it didn't fit, had to return it. We just bought these tail lights and they're supposed to arrive this Sunday November 14.
@@Sals_Garage We have a body and paint shop already lined up, we just need to find one that fits the EX and not strike out again. Does it vibrate on hight velocity and highway? Does it come with everything necessary to mount it or do any modifications need to be made to the trunk to mount it?

Just wondering what happens if you don't wait for the animation to "load" or do you have to wait till the animation loads to have the reverse lights turn on?

@@MrLuffy9131 no issues so far. All the lights are integrated in the housing. You have to replace the whole unit it one burns out but they are LED so they have long life.
What kind of problem? Ours always does the start up animation but only when the headlight knob is turned to the 1st or 3rd setting, not when the headlights are off.
I have had them for 2 years without issue. They last longer than traditional halogen bulbs and are more efficient. If any goes out, just buy a new taillight since you can’t change the bulbs.
It kinda seems like the break lights are not that bright. Please let me know if break lights are brighter then the daylight stripe light? It seems like the stripe is brighter when the breaks are pressed.
Thanks for the comment. It’s hard to tell in the video, but the brake lights are the same brightness as the DRL taillights. Very bright and easy to spot for sure.

You need quad exhaust tips from here: amzn.to/3zstqfy Then you go to the muffler shop and have them weld it on to your current exhaust pipes under the car.
Hey, i’m having issues with my tail lights, if I attache the brake lights on one side I get the animation and the lights don’t light up when i press the brake, however if I flip it around I get the brake lights when I press on the brake but it doesn’t do the animation at start up. Help

Haven’t had any issues with cops yet. We always turn the rear taillight DRLs so it doesn’t look tinted.

did you had to feed the wire to the trunk thing for your car? I did not see you feeding the wire up the trunk bar thing for the light on the trunk.
No need, it plugs into the stock wiring connection which is already routed in there.

they’re not the exact tail lights but they’re very similar, to be exact, they’re the spec d version 2 tail lights
You need to have the headlights in the on position for them to work in startup.

You might have some the connections reversed. Try flipping the connections to see if that fixes it.

Yea definitely try flipping the connections. It worked for me when the turn signals weren’t working.

The animation just stops midway. You don’t have to wait for it.

Hi. The only tip I can give is to flip the connections. That fixed it for me.

I cannot get my start up animation to work, it’s works on the top ones but not the bottom, they just turn right on.

If you leave the headlights on yes. The headlights turn off after around 10 sec when the doors are locked.

Yea, it’s a custom made rear sway bar from Home Depot. Helps with handling and stiffening up rear chassis.

For the stock taillight housing, you just test and pull the old reverse bulb out. Pop the new one in and you’re good to go.
