I’ve been driving ford and ram for years……I now drive a new Titan Pro4X. No issues and I love the truck. CoVID price spikes after being loyal to the other brands put a sour taste in my mouth after the MASSIVE dealer markups. NO. I will not pay that inflated price after being loyal to you. I went elsewhere. Now there’s a new Titan and MX-5 in my driveway. Couldn’t be more pleased.
Just purchased a fully loaded 2024 Pro4x in Baja Storm color. Really amazing truck. Solid, strong Naturally aspirated V8. This truck has everything a no nonsense person would need. Plus their Zero Gravity seats are really comfortable. Titan for the Win!
Well I 100% agree with you … I traded my old Tundra for the new 2024 Titan Pro4X … and I use regular unleaded fuel from day one … it performs great on highways and I get about 19-21 MPG city driving around 17 -18 mph … it’s a stiffer ride with the rear lift springs but it’s old school and. Dependable and this truck will last 15-20 years also.. no regrets … I’m luck to own one B4 it’s gone in 2025
I bought a 2023 Platinum Reserve a few weeks ago for the very reasons you listed. In my case I had been researching for years and was interested in the Tundra until I started reading about all the problems they were having with the Turbo 6. I then decided to buy an older Tundra with a V8 and found a 2021 with 30 k miles for 38K. At the same time there was a 2023 Nissan Platinum Reserve with 17K miles at a dealership near my job that had all the bells and whistles including the towing package. I test drove it for a day and threw out an offer of 42K which they accepted. I was pleased as it has the remainder ot the 100K / 5 year warranty and the dealer also gave me a 10 year/200K warranty on the power train at no cost.
I am a huge Toyota fan, but due to issues I had with two different EcoBoost engines, I have sworn off turbos. The Titan is a great truck that gets crappy gas mileage. Direct injection is known for needing additional maintenance in the long run, but the 5.6 engine is not known for abnormal direct injection intake valve issues. Nissan is known as the poor man's Toyota, and I need long term reliability. The 5 year / 100,000 mile warranty is the best in the industry, and can be extended for a reasonable price. Toyota won't come close to that with their warranty. Once again, I think the older Toyota's are great, but time will tell on the newer stuff. The fact that Toyota has elected to build their own turbos is interesting. Regardless, at the end of the day, the Nissan is a great truck, with very comfortable seats, and a great warranty, that can be had for a portion of the price of a comparable Tundra. It's a no-brainer for me. If you haven't figured it out, I drive a Titan. FWIW, I believe the front end of the Titan is ugly, but I bought the truck for durability and function, so looks doesn't matter.
Zero gravity seats are great on the Titan as well. Wish i could get a P4X. Own a 21 SV 4x4 with 63,000 miles. Great warranty. Just routine maintenance so far. Would like to get into an XD for added stability of towing a camper we want to get. Would like to do the mod for the rear doors to open wider for the dogs and i know the other concern is gas tank size on the smaller size but with the dogs im sure we be making pit stops for gas and potty breaks with the camper. May just pack an extra gas can or two like other folks do.
@uploadtime1780 atleast I know can modify the Honda Ridgeline rear doors by purchasing a different longer hinge mechanism. Wondering if anyone has found a simular option for the nissan rear doors.
hey man you mentioned in one of your video that used Titan also goes with a 5 year bamper-to-bamper warranty. are you sure about this? I rad somewhere that this 5y warranty aplies only to the first buyer.
We bought a 2024 Nissan Titan Pro 4XXD and Baja storm and me and my wife love it

@@george-tm4td I had the same mentality. Such a great truck getting discontinued. Got me one before it’s gone!
Try a gas tank full of Premium which is what the manual recommends, the Titan performs better. I know because I drive one also (2023 Platinum)

The recall numbers aside, that Tundra front end triggers seizures.
I got the white. Fully loaded... I love it. Everyone asks about it
@@tony3552 congrats! Made a wise decision!
great truck, driving few of them since 2012 as I run a construction business, lots of towing without any issues. I will always buy a TITAN.
I just saw the pictures of the 2025 Nissan titan warrior.. looks F%king amazing 🤙🏾Aloha

@jeanclaude7018 someone once said Tundra front grill looks like Hulk Hogans mustache and I forever cant unsee it lol
@jeanclaude7018 It isn't as ugly as my '23 Titan Pro4X. I've felt the Titan has what appears to be a facial droop ever since the 2016 redesign.

Tundra is trash, the Titan is a better truck.
I got one. Wanted the Tundra- but no to the V6/turbo. Enjoyable to drive. It has enough time for 5 grown ass men.
I still own my 07 Tundra, and I agree with you. The new Tundras are not reasonable for the working folks.
Agree with all points
Give me a V8 any day 😊

The titan looks a lot better than the tundra by a long shot.
