Now that the SC is taking up cases arbitrarily, it's clear the SC of today is not doing whatt it was supposed to do by the Constitution... 370 removal - we will look into that later. CAA- We will take it up later. Electoral bonds- later Habeas corpus, judge loya case, bhima koregaon-- we will hear them later. Arnab goswami petition, and Prashant Bhushan contempt case--- These are of grave concerns for our country and democracy, we willhear it now.
We should ensure that collegium system of courts should end that only last hope in our judiciary until there is transparency in appointment of judges nothing is going to change
We The People CAA and 370 are correct legislation’s passed by parliament . No need to hear and waste court time. All others will be taken up once pandemic is over .
Indian history will not forget Mr. Bhushan for his fearless, honest tweets which are in no way an insult but an eye opener for the judiciary and Government. It is now immaterial for how long punishment is given but at least Indians will be proud some body had morals and strength to raise voice of millions.

Mr.Thapar and Mr. Shourie, when I was doing LL.M. in Constitutional Law from the University of Bombay 1982-1983,I was taught that if there was another Court above the Supreme Court, half of its decisions would be set aside.

The judiciary is in ICU. There is least chance of recovery so long BJP is uprooted.The perception of Indian juctice system almost matches with the media tuning to the line of the party in dispensation.
Mr Thapar and Mr Shourie,Mr Madhu Limaye, a great parliamentarian once said that the judges of the Supreme Court were residing in ivory towers.This is from my memory and Mr Limaye made this remark after the Bank Nationlization case.

Indian judiciary is matching with courts of pakistan , Bangladesh, Maldives, in terms of integrity,trust and belief of people of these nations. Of late Courts of India failing nation n its people all the times these days. Prashant is the voice of crores of citizens of this country.

if a complaint filed against an anchor, famous for his biased view, supreme court decides to hear bail application on urgent basis. So many reporters, social workers of repute are behind the bar but their bail application is not heared. why? so many hate speeches of extreme level are available on RUclips from right wings mentality but no action is taken against them. why supreme court is not taking SUO MOTO about it.

For the last few years as intellectuals were murdered and lynchings of innocents took place, some of us protested. There was an attempt to silence us through aggressive trolls and threats. To watch an interview like this and to read the comments below, we will feel less silenced and alone. Thank you Mr. Shourie, Mr. Thapar and my fellow Indian citizens.
All the incidents that were cited by Mr. Shourie toward the end of the interview are so apt to highlight the teenager-like insecurity and recklessness of our current justice system that we, the citizens of India, have much to worry about our and our children's future in a country where all pillars of democracy are taken out one by one, almost like a Machiavellian design.

Mr.Thapar and Mr. Shourie, when I was doing LL.M. in Constitutional Law from the University of Bombay 1982-1983,I was taught that if there was another Court above the Supreme Court, half of its decisions would be set aside.

All the incidents that were cited by Mr. Shourie toward the end of the interview are so apt to highlight the teenager-like insecurity and recklessness of our current justice system that we, the citizens of India, have much to worry about our and our children's future in a country where all pillars of democracy are taken out one by one, almost like a Machiavellian design.
