New card looks sick but what I noticed about Vaylantz United: The Ninja isn't in the card art lol. One day i will get around to getting better at this deck. Its one of my goals trying to learn Pend decks (anyone have any advice to optimally approach learning this deck?)
You need to get used to the rules first. It's a bit complicated because it goes way off track while trying to make combos. Anyway what you need to know is that there is a scale written on every card which allows you to pendulum summon monsters from hand or/and Extra Deck. When a pendulum is destroyed it goes face up in the Extra Deck. The level of the monsters you're trying to summon must be between the declared scale. For example, most of Vaylantz main deck is made of scale 1 pends, but fusions (as shown in the video) can reach 12. This scale allows you to summon monsters from lv2 to lv11 from hand and/or extra deck. Hope it is clear! I am trying to get into this deck because it's pretty fun, it even has a solid FTK combo.

I first got lost on this concept with the last Metalfoes Fusion card that also could be set to scale (albeit awkwardly imo). Glad Solo Activation is a card though, lowered difficulty of getting your plays started and increased the consistency of the deck. The FTK variants of Vaylantz

You can only use this effect of "Vaylantz Genesis Grand Duke" once per turn." Hope you can help me further =D
If you use the -5k Cyber-Stein Gear Giant X combo, Beyond the Pendulum -1200 LP, you get very low on lifepoints, however if you use Upstart Goblin, you can increase the LP difference between you and your opponent even more, potentially turning Hope for Escape into double +4 Pot of Greed(/End of the Line). You would then use Spooky Dogwood to heal back up.
The low life total usually doesnt matter given that you basically have more negates than your opp will have cards. It really only loses to droplet/dark ruler.
Muy buenas partidas. Prefiero la versión con Senet Switch y Hojo the Vaylantz Warrior, pero en esta está interesante el uso del Pachycephalo y el péndulo tuner. Es una lástima que no haya incentivo a usar la fusión de 3 materiales o una manera en que se lo pueda invocar sin que comprometa otras interrupciones (que por cierto, no debería estar en la imagen de la portada ni en la del final del video).
No siento que sea muy consistente, pero sí logras tener en el campo a Arktos, a Hojo y a Duke, tienes un buen combo. Con Arktos mueves a Hojo y a Duke. Hojo eff (1) Duke eff (2), te robas el monstruo de tu oponente y con Hojo sacas a Mamonaka. Ya con eso destruiste algo con Arktos, te robaste un monstruo y sacas otra interrupción.
@@GermangoYGO Buen combo, me gustó la idea, 👍. Además que con Mamonaka es otra interrupción más. Aunque sí, es complicado, si hubiera algo como una trampa que permita invocar 2 Vaylantz de nivel 8 desde el deck, sería mucho más fácil.

I wish it was worth playing but a 3 mat fusion just sucks compared to Branded only needing one card

Arktos + Dominator Duke + Hojo is also pretty strong. Ez way to get Mamonaka on the field.
