Some of the duels were really cool (I NEVER figured book-of-moon my own monster to dodge an impermanence, IDK why that never crossed my mind). Some of the duels, like the Rikka, really lack tension, no back-and-forth, so it wasn't really good at representing the deck's full might. Awesome video overall!
im so confused, when your vsing rikka(and swordsoul), why didn't you attack directly? to me when someone keeps setting a monster face down that's a sign they bricked on a hand trap or somethin so either your not reading maizen, your making sure they don't have any pieces to go off next turn, or your simulator is bugged. it just seemed like an odd decision to not attack directly while the opponent seems extremely vulnerable. edit: i should mention i'm so glad you showed the loss against labrynth and floo(with barrier statue too), i really dont like when people paint a deck in a "it is literally perfect in every way" light, its fine to show weaknesses of the deck your playing because A) people can either start to solve those problems or B) help midigate.

Nah the dude who created the deck, is the one who won the last 3 ocg championships, he made an extremely long guide explaining everything about the deck, its massive haha
Ash Blossom doesn't target cards, so using Book of Moon wouldn't stop Ash's effect. If it were a card like Impermanence or Veiler, then Book of Moon works in this scenario.

2 copies of book of eclipse would fit. And if you want to add anything else you could put 2 ninja field spells in and 1 ultimate great insect in the extra deck. The insect can be special summoned by tributing mitsu and if you have the field spell you can destroy all monsters your opponent controls

It's a counter trap that comes with the structure deck in master duel that stops effects in the hand and graveyard and it's not a once per turn effect. Helps prevent stuff like Maxx c and nibiru. Best moments are when you use it to stop a tears beginning combo immediately with just one and they pass the turn or you summon a bunch of ninjas on your opponents turn and negate their nibiru with it
what I dont get is ninja was an xyz archetype from zexal that had these really powerful trap cards to control the game. why the sudden swap to flips and contact fusion.
Most of the good ninja traps neeed high level ninjas for best value, so having an extra deck mechanic that relies on monsters with levels is amazing for the strat.
Ninjas don't resemble their former self... BUT GOD I LOVE THAT, Konami needed to change their gameplan and give them some fresh air, now they are incredible better than whatever they used to be ever
It's because they had a thousand of strategies over the years, one thing that is cool about Ninjas now, is that they resemble the first ninjas (flip effects) and the new ones(ninjutsu arts and fusion) and assemble them in a beautiful way, they are by far the best flip strategy in this day and age.
@@supersendojarren yes. In the case of a monster. Thats why ghost belle can chain to toadally awesome if toad negates a monster on field. Toad can attempt to set the monster to their field but ghost belle can stop that because thats a summon from GY.
Okay, this has me REALLY excited. Hopefully the PHHY preview keeps all of these cards in the set.

Jio is not a garnet as he can be summoned by Tobari and Kagero. He is a brick though, and you should play 2 in case you draw him.

Why didn't you just attack directly with Mizen against the set Ghost Ogre and D.D. Crow?

because set and flip is a lot more "sense" to "ninja" . Rather than make xyz then OTK.
