I know how devastated I was to lose my senior dog shortly after finding this channel and having immediately fell in love with Brucie, then getting to meet his little brother and getting just as quickly attached to Bruno’s adorable personality. I’ve been watching this channel for two years now. I had a border collie for 10 years that was my entire world. Loosing her destroyed me but you and your collie camping videos got me through the worst time of my life. I’ve never commented but I’ve spent hours of my life watching you and your love for you dog. Tony, my wife and I grieved upon Bruce's passing and now Bruno. We loved watching Bruno from a pup growing up. We have 2 chocolate labs, 13 and 18 months, and they are our best friends, too. RIP, Bruno.

Important tony read this:My little chihuahua died exactly the Same way tony and in front of me. Had one seizure first then was ok for a bit ,then a second seizure and died 5mins later. Only god knows why things happen, please for a minute do not feel any guilt,wether you where at home or anywhere it was going to happen, Some animals have a predisposition Of seizures in there genes already. We all are with you and are not alone. Be in peace,Bruno was called to heaven on gods schedule not ours. We cant be selfish with god,even though We think life was too short here with us, God didnt see it that way,god called him. God please bless Tony and his family Max was 3-4 pounds and his girlfriend Was 12pounds Binky. I think of them everyday and miss them. I think soon i will find a new set of dogs. I am a Vet x 38 yrs. I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine your pain. Your Videos have been very important to me. I would only hope you find a way to get over this and continue your love for camping. Sometimes it is best to take a break from having a dog after losing one (two). I believe in therapy and think you will find your camping trips to be therapeutic. I will research the possible causes of seizures in your area. If you ever need to reach out to me, let me know. He spent so much time in nature, running free and exploring the outdoors. Every dogs dream!! Absolutely. My dog is 15 now, and has never been camping, been able to explore off leash, none of it. We hiked a fair amount, but rarely long distances. My 6 year old dog probably won't either. I probably won't get to camp more than the one time in my life, if things keep going the way they always have. Bruno had more adventure and excitement in 17 months than most dogs and even people will have in their lifetimes. He had a great life.
If you need to take time away it's okay. Seriously. Don't have a single doubt that makes you think you ever need to come back. We get it. We love you man. We love Bruce and Bruno all the same.
I second this. It is a time for you to have a decent break from RUclips, to reflect on the good times and these bad times. It is heart wrenching painful for you and for it to happen again just not long after Bruce, Grieve Tony and only come back until when you are really ready. We all support you in what ever you want to do.

I am so sorry for your loss. I saw this video come up, but could not bring myself to watch it until today. I tried. And I cried. But I could not get past the first 55 seconds. My heart breaks for you. I have a Border Collie and I found your channel about a years ago. They are very special dogs and I am surprised at 67 years old and having had many dogs in my life, how unique and joyful Border Collies are. I call mine Sassy but Cheeky works too. I adore watching your special adventures together. Bruno enjoyed a beautiful life and you gave both of them opportunities most pups do not have. You could see that they knew they were very much loved by you. They were so happy being out and about with you. Please know that there are so many who join in your grief and feel the pain with you. To me, you and Bruce and Bruno have provided great joy and kind of peace that is not normally found in RUclips land. You captured a very special relationship and from the comments here, have brought joy and peace and helped so many cope with difficult situations by getting out into nature for us. Both Bruce and Bruno were well loved by you and we could see that they knew it. You gave them the life they deserved and needed. I originally started watching because of Brucie. It was heartbreaking when he passed. Now losing Bruno at such a young age so devastating. RIP to both precious pups. May they run forever in the meadows chasing sticks. They were well loved by us all .

While my husband and I had coffee at 4 this morning (Arizona), I noticed the title on your new RUclips. We instantly played it...and both of us cried. I cannot imagine your pain having lost Brucie not long ago as well. I know sometimes I wonder why I get another dog when the pain is so excruciating! When my dog died last November, someone on social media said "The horrible pain you feel demonstrates the depth of your love". He was loved...more than most dogs on earth. Because not only you and Anne loved him -- but so did all your viewers. We are all devastated with you. Nothing helps...but time. May God comfort you both...we are so sorry...

I have probably commented on this post over the last few days but feel compelled to do so again- As me and my two dogs ALWAYS watch your videos, and I have you on a 24/7 roll on a tv for them. You’ve taught me to lighten up on my dogs when we go camping. I’m often on them about what they’re chewing on, staying close etc. just watching your pop-up tent camp with Brucey, and just realized I need to let them be dogs. Let them explore, let them chew… let them BE DOGS. Tony, not only have you been an amazing dog dad, you’ve made many amazing dog dads in your shadow. Just put my dog to sleep, suffering with bad heart. He was adopted from Humane Society at 10, but I hoped we woul d have him longer than 4 years. I am here and he isn't. He died in our arms. I felt so bad about Bruno and Brucie and now here I am like you.

I’ve been watching this channel for two years now. I had a border collie for 10 years that was my entire world. Loosing her destroyed me but you and your collie camping videos got me through the worst time of my life. I’ve never commented but I’ve spent hours of my life watching you and your love for you dog. And all of us dog owners can admire a man who truly loves his companion. From me and all of us, thank you and RIP Bruno

Tony, it's not your fault. It's not your fault. Bruno loved life, and he loved you. What happened was just a tragic accident. Please don't blame yourself. Please don't let this tragedy prevent you from enjoying the beauty of nature. Bruce and Bruno would never want that to happen. You are a perfect dog owner. You respect their intelligence and their spirit, and they love you for it.

Had one seizure first then was ok for a bit ,then a second seizure and died
5mins later. Only god knows why things happen, please for a minute do not feel any guilt,wether you where at home or anywhere it was going to happen,
Some animals have a predisposition
Of seizures in there genes already.
We all are with you and are not alone.

I am a Vet x 38 yrs. I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine your pain. Your Videos have been very important to me. I would only hope you find a way to get over this and continue your love for camping. Sometimes it is best to take a break from having a dog after losing one (two). I believe in therapy and think you will find your camping trips to be therapeutic. I will research the possible causes of seizures in your area. If you ever need to reach out to me, let me know.

@@margaret4870I had a dog that died the same way. Seizure, brain aneurysm, then heart stopped. He was totally fine before that. It just happens, unfortunately! Could be a # of things.

As all of our dogs - we don't deserve them. I hope you find comfort in knowing that he was at his happiest when he was out there with you. Absolutely. My dog is 15 now, and has never been camping, been able to explore off leash, none of it. We hiked a fair amount, but rarely long distances. My 6 year old dog probably won't either. I probably won't get to camp more than the one time in my life, if things keep going the way they always have. Bruno had more adventure and excitement in 17 months than most dogs and even people will have in their lifetimes. He had a great life.

I am so sorry for your loss. I saw this video come up, but could not bring myself to watch it until today. I tried. And I cried. But I could not get past the first 55 seconds. My heart breaks for you. I have a Border Collie and I found your channel about a years ago. They are very special dogs and I am surprised at 67 years old and having had many dogs in my life, how unique and joyful Border Collies are. I call mine Sassy but Cheeky works too. I adore watching your special adventures together. Bruno enjoyed a beautiful life and you gave both of them opportunities most pups do not have. You could see that they knew they were very much loved by you. They were so happy being out and about with you.
Please know that there are so many who join in your grief and feel the pain with you. To me, you and Bruce and Bruno have provided great joy and kind of peace that is not normally found in RUclips land. You captured a very special relationship and from the comments here, have brought joy and peace and helped so many cope with difficult situations by getting out into nature for us. Both Bruce and Bruno were well loved by you and we could see that they knew it. You gave them the life they deserved and needed. It was obvious Bruno loved having adventures with you and loved you back with his big doggie heart. Please be kind to yourself and know that you are a great dog parent. While my husband and I had coffee at 4 this morning (Arizona), I noticed the title on your new RUclips. We instantly played it...and both of us cried. I cannot imagine your pain having lost Brucie not long ago as well. I know sometimes I wonder why I get another dog when the pain is so excruciating! When my dog died last November, someone on social media said "The horrible pain you feel demonstrates the depth of your love". He was loved...more than most dogs on earth. Because not only you and Anne loved him -- but so did all your viewers. We are all devastated with you. Nothing helps...but time. May God comfort you both...we are so sorry...

Bruno was clearly deeply loved from beginning to end, and he knew it. Though his last moments on Earth were a terrible ordeal for you as you did everything you possibly could to save him, please remember it was not the same for him. Throughout it all, he was not alone, or afraid. He was constantly held, comforted, reassured and loved by you, his dad, as he took his leave from this world and began his onward journey to the next.
Bruno has taken yours and Anne's love with him on that journey, wrapped around him like a big, soft blanket that will warm and protect him forevermore. His visit to this planet was short in human years, but it was oh so very sweet for him, and all who loved him.
Quality of life always trumps quantity, and Bruno enjoyed a life of rare quality with you and your wife. I hope that knowledge will soothe you both, as you continue to grieve his loss, and that your happy memories will ultimately reign.

I have probably commented on this post over the last few days but feel compelled to do so again- As me and my two dogs ALWAYS watch your videos, and I have you on a 24/7 roll on a tv for them. You’ve taught me to lighten up on my dogs when we go camping. I’m often on them about what they’re chewing on, staying close etc. just watching your pop-up tent camp with Brucey, and just realized I need to let them be dogs. Let them explore, let them chew… let them BE DOGS. Tony, not only have you been an amazing dog dad, you’ve made many amazing dog dads in your shadow. Brucey and Bruno are so proud, and happy to have had you as their dad. I felt the need to share in the moment watching. Sending love.

Bruno couldn’t have been in a better place than when he passed. The amount of love wrapped around him as he passed is something every animal should get to experience in their lifetime. I told my husband of the loss of your sweet Bruno. He told me he couldn’t watch the video, because it was too painful. 😢. But he said something I wanted to share with you. He said Bruno’s life might have been shorter than we would have all wanted, but his life was a life full of love and adventure and joy. More than many dogs who live many more years. You gave him a wonderful life in which he knew how abundantly he was loved. We pray for you to have comfort and peace, and the Lord will remind you of all the beautiful times you had with Bruno (and sweet Bruce as well), and those memories are a comfort and joy to you. Tony, I can't tell you how shocked and sorry we were to hear about Bruno's sudden passing. He was so vibrant and full of life, the idea that he could just leave us so soon seems incredible. I'm crying with you, we lost our baby Buster 2 weeks ago suddenly... We loved him so much he was spoiled by our whole family. Our worlds revovled around him.💜💜

No words can take away the pain we feel when losing an animal of any kind....I cried when my mother's parakeet died back in the 90's....we are comforted in knowing we gave and did all we can to give them a loving home and a wonderful life....Bruno, Bruce, and our many other 4-legged kids live on in our hearts for all eternity till we meet them once again when we make our trip across the bridge as well....heartfelt condolences to you and your family....
