There was leg decals and the decals for the upper front chest to your left while building that you could have attached to your droid for FREE. Came in White, Black, Blue and Red.
omg nobody even told us!! . The lady didn't say anything. I ended up buying them after . Well shoot lol . Now I know for when my kids go back with me.
They're not decals
Those aren't decals. They're plastic interchangeable panels. The decals are the stickers.
@@ReisWorld the cast membership you got wss terrible. You missed out on the FREE plastic inserts. If you again bring your receipt and your video. You are definitely entitled to set.
@@ReisWorld There are instructions that show you. Not only that but they were literally to your left at the building station. Love the droid anyway.
I can't believe the attendant didn't even notice you forgot to add 4 pieces to your droid!! You should go back and show them this video so you can get the snap on leg side pieces and the utility arms that flip out on the front. That was actually pretty bad that the attendant didn't catch that. I mean I know she probably looks at them all day but since she does see them all day, it should have stood out to her immediately.
Yeah, we ended up having to buy a pack of panels, leg pieces and utility arms separate for 12.99 >< lol
Im surprised the Tech did not mention the missing parts on the legs or body,.,,

I think I'm gonna make mine like this. I love that transparent orange head but I want to get the orange accents also. Maybe with like the black decals. Haven't officially decided yet. I have to February to figure it out. Lol

That’s messed up they didn’t inform you about the extra pieces to attach and I also noticed how the employee just freakin walked away, really upsets me
Yeah our second time through was a little better but the extra parts didn't match what we wanted so we just bought what we wanted again lol
She should have told you that you didn't put on all the parts. There were long colored leg parts and some colored chest parts that should have been added. You skipped part "4". the free parts were to your left, but they only have black , white, blue and red. So if you want orange you have to buy it.I think if you brought it back and showed them they might give you the missing pieces. I love the clear head!
Yeah that wasn't good lol We had to buy them for 12.99 extra. Also the droid carrier backpack we got had the plug broken off the chain so we don't have the plug to keep it from leaning 😆.
@@ReisWorld If you are going back I would take it and show them you didn't get all the parts, and ask for a replacement for the broken one.

you have to add them at the building desk, the employee should have warned them because many people would forget
They were not informed by the person who's job it is to complete their experience. Something can't be forgotten if it's existence isn't known.
Very disappointed that the tech agent didn't recognize or advise that the leg and front pieces were in the tray to their left so they could complete the assembly.
@@yoranbollue153 Or you can read the literal directions right in front of you I could understand if a kid forgot to do this but these are adults Should know how to read directions I wouldn't trust any of the furniture in there house

Was the chest pieces on purpose cause the chest pieces are on one side of the table. The attendant didn't even check if it's complete.

Should have gotten the orange panel pack. I plan on making a red R2 unit and adding the yellow decals. That would have it match the droid I thought of as a grade schooler. I pretended to be a bounty hunting pug-man with my friends. And my personal R2 unit was P2-G2.
Sounds awesome, just so you know we found out that after a day the stickers we added started to get air bubbles and self peel without us touching the droid, a little extra adhesive might be a good idea 😀

That sucks the Disney Employee did not notice you forgot some parts. Take this video back into the store if your local and show them....maybe they will let you get the parts to complete the droid.
Yeah that was lame, we checked on another droid we just built and saw we could have grabbed the color we needed too lol

We did :) We bout everything except the jet boosters but will probably pick them up soon :D

Do you guys realize the cast member said nothing about the accessories that came WITH the droid? The peice were at the station where you put it together.You should of gotten two peices for the chest and two for the legs You paid $100 for it i'd take it back and say hey i'm missing peices
Yeah we ended up buying the extra pieces from the colored packs on the wall, we had no clue till we built our second droid lol

I have a question about the orange panels/decals available for purchase at the Droid Depot; are there three different shades of orange, or are they all the same shade of orange?
The decals and panels are the same color. They are also the same as the orange on the droid body and heads 😃👍
Excellent! If I ever go to Galaxy’s Edge, I’m making a white-and-orange R4, with the orange Resistance personality chip, and name it R4-R3BL, or, “Rebel,” for short.
How long was the wait in line, and what time was it? Im going to disney world some time i want to know the best time to go there.
When we went it was before it opened to the public so not long. We went in October again and you could just walk right in if you went on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Almost no real line thoes on other days except Saturdays and Sundays. The area was pretty dead still though.
I would go like during the week the week before Valentine's day.

You got really bad service they really didn’t help you at all. That’s a shame and you didn’t give any of the pieces on the front or on the arms were they out of them?
Yeah, I didn't know it it was because they were overwhelmed or still training the staff but we ended up having to buy all of it separate. I don't think they were out because we made another one not too long after and they had parts. This was before it opened to the public so they had lots of cool things in stock. It's ok though I am just glad they had the parts for sale on the wall lol.

how do these run on carpet?
Not very well, they are slow on carpent moving forwards and backwards but side to side is nearly impossible and I feel like the motor will break. They are pretty much confined to hard surfaces.
Reis World thanks for the feedback, just in time cause my reservation is tomorrow.. with that being said, I think i gotta go with a BB unit considering my house is just about all carpet and It seems like I’d get more of my moneys worth with a BB unit if I’m gonna be using it primarily on carpet
Yeah, BB droids are cute, I just with they sold acesdories for them. You are probably going to have more fun with it though. Also if you keep it in the baby carrier backpack thing and leave him on, he will react to various things around the park. Also don't forget a pwrsonality chip! 😀
They may have stickers for him too, also cjeck the tray next to the build table, he may have extra free parts mixed in there 😊

You missed all the fittings, or disney was out of the proper parts and rushed you out
Yeah they didn't tell us anything, they really didn't seem to care but we bought all of that stuff seperate. We have another video showing all of the acessories we got too. 😃👍
Hate to mention it, but you neglected to put on the front pieces and the pieces that go on the sides of the legs. How did you miss those? They are all right there at the building station, and clearly displayed in the building instructions. I am surprised that the cast member there did not mention the missing parts.

So is it better to build a astromech unit or a bb unit?
We have 2 Astromech. The BB units cant use any of the accessories thet still look kinda cool though.

I've been hearing alot about needing a credit card linked to the Disneyland app for saviis workshop can I skip that and make a reservation and pay by cash I hope so
You do that does stink. reservations are open at 7am daily for Oga's is $10 dollars a person and you are supposed to get your money back when you enter. If you don't show up I believe they keep your deposit kind of like making a reservation at their buffets. for Savi's you do need a card to pay online. You can put your debit card if you want. Again you don't show up you forfeit your deposit.
Its 100$ and how much tax?
I want to say it was like $110 with tax for just the droid.
Colored panals, decals, personality chips and acessories are all extra. We spent around $200 for everything.

On average how long can you be expected to wait to build a droid?
With reservations to Galaxy's Edge it was like a 15-20 min line but we waited till the 2nd hour to get in and we didn't have to wait.
With it opening to the public on Monday, I can imagine a pretty long line for it. Bad thing about Galaxy's Edge is the lack of shade and sitting areas. So you will be standing in the sun waiting :(

Now that it is open to the public, none other than the reservations you need to make at 7am for Savi's Workshop and Oga's Cantina. You can do them through the Disneyland website or the Disneyland app. Also for food and drinks you can order them on the Disneyland app and skip the lines.
@@ReisWorld thanks but I'd rather turn up on the day a make my reservation with cash or card sounds too complicated with online or app reservations

I had to buy the panals seperate but it was worth it he looks cool now lol. I made another video where we built another and raced them in the hallway of the Disneyland hotel lol it was pretty fun 😃👍

@@ReisWorld I want to build an all black ( well mostly all black ) R5 droid ( I LOVE their cute heads, and the fact they have a "bad modivator" aka they are depressed, CUTE!!! with maybe black white or red side panneling ( they have boxy heads and small tiny eye things :D :D :D ) and I think I want it to have the Black personality chip so they can sound strange / scary / alien like lol :D :D :D :D i dream of this every day now, but we have to wait until the park reopens still , do you know when they will reopen? my mom said that even though DisneyLand wants to reopen in mid July they might have to be forced to open in Auguest or even September :( :( :(, but I wish I didn't have to wait that long!
I like the R5 too I just wish they had something light up on their heads or a pop up motivator lol. I hear a few things about late July or early August but they also say they are doing limited capasity and you need a reservation. I dont know tge official word yet but I bet that first couple of weeks will be crowded lol

What’s the price of the droid?
$100 for the droid with remote. If you want better panels, a personality chip or some acessories they are extra. You might end up spending $150+ easily
