Ohhhhh bless you lovely peeps. Liam and Janine I know that you both have a deep connection with India ❤ it's living on in your hearts. And i know u will both come back here. I loved filming this timeless and beautiful village ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks Kas for sharing a day in the life of … colourful simple but meaningful living! I’m sure the food tastes awesome, and love that they use banana leaves as plates ! Resourceful and again… connecting to their environment and what Mother Earth provides. I love the colours .. the blue house .. the colourful exteriors … 🩵 The children are beautiful and sooo smiley! Satchitananda Great vlog 😍 Om Shanti 🙏
Oh wow THANK YOU so much for this wonderful comment my friend. Yes the food certainly looked really nice and i also LOVE how they connect with nature and eat from banana leaves. I love the fact that it's also zero waste to eat off the leaves. Ohhhh yes the character of the houses and those wonderful children, the creative colours amongst the natural background and the simplistic lifestyles form a rich tapestry of village culture for sure ❤ I'm so happy that you enjoyed this vlog ❤
Now this is a totally different way of life than anything I've ever experienced Kas ! 🤔 what is very apparent is just how cheerful the children look wven when they sre helping with chores 😊❤ the banana leaves as plates, what improvisation 😊😊 Your friend Kirstie comes across as someone like yourself, cheerful & positive 😊😊 really great to see the human interaction & quite possibly Water is one of the things that helps make village life so simple yet so different, really enjoyed seeing a totally different culture to my own ! Well done Kas ,very well put across 🎉❤
Ohhhhhh WOW David this comment is sooooooo LOVELY. THANK YOU so much ❤ Yes the water does add a difference to this lifestyle as its far more visual here. In the West the machines do the water work for us so we don't have the same exposure to that element. According to my studies nature is a great healer. For example, water is clensing, fire keeps us warm and kills germs and the wind blows away the mental cobwebs. And exposure to the elements subsequently increases happiness levels. So yes the kids are still cheerful despite the chores. Also they do have a balanced life. Re they go to school, play outside, do their homework and also help with the chores. What i love about eating off the banana leaf is that it's completely zero waste. Nature seems to be our helping hand and healer. Yes... Kirstie and i have similar personalities 😀 I'm so happy that you liked this vlog David and so grateful for your support with my channel ❤
@@travellingyoginikas Thank you for the lovely reply 🙂❤ There is something about living like this that makes ya think Kas , having everything done by machines , does that tale away something from our connection to the natural world 🤔also it makes me wonder, are we sp spoilt that our lives are ruled by the must have the latest gadgets & have everything we see or see what others possess🤔 i know technology is marvellous BUT does it come at a price,a BIG price !!!!!!😖🤔❤
@@davidmarshall5596 oh David...... I believe that the West believe has everything (on the surface) , but really it has nothing. And in the east the people have nothing but actually they have everything. As ya know iv lived in both the east and west. I feel happier in the east. I do believe thats due to my deeper connection to nature. For example, the roof on my room is detached from the ceiling so I'm technically outdoors 24hrs a day. Iv got high exposure to water as I handwash everything and each evening my hosts make a fire to heat the water for their bucket baths. I'm in a situation where iv given up the washing machine, the dishwasher, the cosy house with a proper roof and now I live so basically. I own 2 rucksacks so I'm at the bare minimum. Uk living gave me the maximum but i certainly didn't have the happiness levels that i have in India. Oh and by the way..... On the next vlog nature will give us a helping hand as we use banana leaves to help us create a cooking dish 😊
@@travellingyoginikas you sound like you feeling more at 'home' in India Kas, & by watching your vlogs it can be seen with your demeanour & Kirstie also looks to be equally enjoying her time there ! Look forward to seeing more of your ' new' way if life in the upcoming vlog(s) ❤👍
@@davidmarshall5596 thank you David my friend ❤ yes alot of people tell me i look happier whilst in India. Yer Kirstie also loves India. She's been to India a few times and once stayed here for 3 months! ❤
Yes that was my after thought! I need to learn more Kannada, as that way I will communicate well with the people. I'm really into Karnatic culture. In fact on my next vlog my host will attempt to teach me how to make karnatic banana leaf dosas. The karnatic cooking is full of culture and enrichment, so similar to the language, I might not understand it. I do feel that Kannada culture and language should be maintained as it holds a depth of history and culture. Therefore maintaining the language and culture feels important ❤❤❤❤
@@traceysprigings8334 ahhhhhh THANKU sooooo MUCH Tracey. Bless you. Yes it's good to be back on the road again. I'm really Into the exploration of timeless wonders at the moment. How are you doing hun? ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
