It takes 2 seconds to look up that jyp is the founder, major shareholder, executive director/ cco of jype... so most of the stuff you claim he has no control of is actually fully in his control... he has final say in more than you'd expect. The other people you could say cause problems work under him so that's also in his reach of control...

JYP is not CEO any more so he doesn't fully micro manage like a CEO or any executive position does but he still the owner / president of JYP label and still hold huge power because of his biggest share of the company. CEO is just a higher executive position, it doesn't necessary means they owns the company. His main job is a producer and artist but he has the final say on the production of their artist music. . Hes the chief of all of their music production so the ceo can't even control him. CEO is consider a higher executive worker, they can still get fire by the board of directors and with the vote of JYP himself.

I agree with you guys with the “Show face” thing. If you’re feeling too bad and you feel like you’re not in the right mind and you CANT atleast act like you’re good, DONT GO!

I don’t know how much u know about South Korea‘s history with cults but I don’t think JYP‘s close ties to these religious and PUBLIC practices and the possibility of those beliefs somewhat bleeding into his trainees is a reach. Also I think u highly underestimate his influence in the company. Just because he resigned as a CEO doesn’t mean his notoriety and influence on the entire company isn’t as powerful anymore. Korea is a very hierarchical society and his name is legendary so ppl will follow his „advice“ most of the time anyway.
On paper he hasn’t technically done anything wrong but there are just too many individual circumstances that in combination paint at least somewhat of a questionable image.
On a side note: Jay Park has talked about the abuse he has witnessed during trainee days on a podcast. It was in a lighthearted fashion and he himself wasn’t hurt per se as he was always one of the best but it is safe to say that Jay‘s newest company MORE VISION is his way of stepping into the K-pop industry and the training system to build an alternative way of going about how to develop idols and work with trainees. His want to create girl and boygroups in a humane and collaborate approach is definitely rooted from his personal experiences within that system and his knowledge from behind the scenes.
