  • The Marine Corps Infantry, probably one of the most sought out after jobs in the Marine Corps. However, many don't really know what the Marine Corps Infantry comes with and what goes on within the Marine Corps Infantry. Luckly, I'm here to share with you the raw truth about the Marine Corps Infantry. I will be rating my Marine Corps Infantry experience for you. I will be going over pretty much every aspect of the Marine Corps Infantry. I will try to convey to you what the Marine Corps Infantry is like, at least from my experience in the Marine Corps Infantry. Everything I'm sharing with you is the raw truth about the Marine Corps Infantry from my experience in the Marine Corps Infantry. Just know this video, isn't meant to talk down on the Marine Corps Infantry, I'm just sharing my Marine Corps Infantry experience. And your Marine Corps Infantry experience can very well be better than mine. This video is just to give you things to look out for, so that you can hopefully have a better Marine Corps Infantry experience than I did. The Marine Corps Infantry is an untamable beast, and that's what makes the Marine Corps Infantry the best there is. So, if you're looking to go into the Marine Corps Infantry just make sure you're ready for the complete package. Hopefully, by me rating my Marine Corps Infantry experience and telling the raw truth about the Marine Corps Infantry you can prepare yourself. I hope you enjoy this video and as always, thanks for watching.

Great video, the more things change. The more they stay the same. I'm sure there was a Jarhead that got back from France after WWI or one from WWII , Korea , Vietnam and so on that will relate the same story to some degree. Drinking and hazing go hand in hand in the Infantry. When I was in we had guys that were in the Army and they said it was the exact same way, not to the extent that we did it though. I had two drill instructors tell me "the Marine Corps to you is what YOU make it" and that is the truth. Hang with shitbirds, you will become one, if not you will be by association. I saw all those people you described, and I let one drive me from the Marines. I regret that even now. But I look back on my experience with favor, I learned a lot in that time and it has been what drives me. The brothers I met while in, are closer to me than some of my family. I've been a fire fighter for 26 years, not a bad job for an 0311. I've had a good life and it all started as a Marine.

    • @TheRealRickyVirgo

@@lil.chatita5496 oh we already have women in the infantry haha, I haven't worked side by side with any yet but I've overrated during a training exercise with a group training ans she didn't do bad, held up pretty good moving to an objective, and there are a few others ive seen and they obviously don't perform like men but if you have the mentality then you are good. Do I recommend it hell no lol so bad for a man's body, takes a bigger toll on a woman's. And as for opinions I know there'd a stigma in the world with women shouldn't do this and that, to me I don't care, I get a solid check to lead Marines and ensure we are properly trained and when overseas to ensure we all get back safe. Everything else to me personally doesn't matter what anyone does, we are all out in this world to make a difference, becomes stable and make a paycheck

Great video. The Military is what you make it to be. One day I met a young Ranger in the Army with an Engineering Degree and a 4.0 GPA. I asked him "why in the fuckery fuck you joined the Army after college, especially the fucking Infantry?" He said, "because I wanted to do something fun before going permanently to a dull and boring corporate environment, and so far in these 3 years I have an as Ranger I feel more ALIVE than ever." I was actually surprised by his response. Good Luck Marine!

I was in the Marine Corps from '99-'04. I was in the airwing as a helicopter mechanic with HMM 162 on New River. This video is also accurate for us as well. We definitely had the hazing, drinking, all of that. The biggest issue that we had was guys getting promoted when they absolutely did not deserve it. The number would be so low for a certain MOS to get promoted that you had absolute shit birds in charge of grown men. It was unfortunate for everyone because NO ONE respected them and just did the absolute minimum because they had to respect the rank.
His description of power hungry assholes is SUPER ACCURATE. I was promoted quickly, meritoriously twice (once out of boot camp, once in the fleet) and I was most excited about one thing after getting promoted: telling these Napoleon complex assholes to get fucked. Men's complete insecurities are on full display when they achieve ranks they do not deserve. Belittling junior Marines because they got beat up in high school or some shit. Over all though, I absolutely would NEVER change ANYTHING about my experiences. The Marine Corps literally saved my life at a time when I needed it to. Anyway...his video is accurate and dead on point.

The only thing I knew about the USMC was the movies "Retreat Hell and The Sands of Iwo Jima" both movies. I said what the hell, it was probably safer in Vietnam with the USMC than getting drafted by Army, I noticed what was getting drafted in to Army. Ain't nothing like getting dropped off in the woods by a fucking Osprey with your boys to play some war games. I had the best AND worst times of my life with Marine infantry.

I joined Army Infantry. Our promotions were the opposite. Which led to immature leadership. On the job Deployed we were on it professional for the most part. In the rear absolute cluster fuck. If we were in the field we were doing maintenance. Drugs everywhere on bases hell had a weed guy at point delivery. Just got lucky never popped I got dumb by second enlistment.. I give it a 5 not good not bad definitely positive after for benefits.
