You might want to consider flattening the end of the lead out with a vice. Drill a small hole trough it and then clip a clip swivel in the hole then heat shrink.
My first thought was it a wire on the swivel ran all the way to the other end
You can't pull these apart let alone have one come apart under fishing conditions
Why heat shrink?Just leave the lead exposed.
Heat shrink is what holds the swivel..and it keeps you from getting lead all over your hands and gear
that's a great idea I like it keep it up can't wait for the next video
Update.... the 9.5" are 2.5 Oz, 14.5" are 4 oz
Very good idea 💡 thanks for sharing!
Thank you
Great video Dave
Thanks
awesome
Nice bro I would add bread tie on swivel and wrap it down the lead downward just for a lil more strength but thanks for tutorial
I have never had one of these come apart....
What is the maximum distance of meter to throw from the beach for dragging weights ?
What does dranging sinkers do for u
They ride up and over obstacles. Don't snag near as much as other sinkers when trolling or dragging baits
Where u located?
Near the corner of Rush,Shelby and Hancock counties
@@outdoorsinindianawithdaves9826 love to connect up and get in on a fishing trip with you.
Where you at? Well make it happen sometime
@OUTDOORS in INDIANA with Dave Scott I'm in Howard County but got a cabin on the whiteriver in Mitchell Indiana
Straw floaters with a 2 or 3 oz Bank sinker on the bottom work much better and are a lot cheaper
EVERYONE HAS AN OPTION. HIS IDEA IS GOOD
What is a straw floater?
So when you cast I bet sometimes your sinker keeps going. Count .e out.
You can't pull these apart. Never had one come off casting or snagged. I'll break 40# line and never had one come apart
Them swivels dont come out
Nope. 40# line will break long before the sinkers
Ok Thank You sir try to make me some
BE SAFE
@luzgarcia9499 be sure ti use heat shrink with adhesive inside
