As far as i am aware, canal traffic (boats) have priority, due to outdated laws going back 100's of years. If that is the case, that needs to be scrapped and boats should only be allowed to disrupt traffic flow during off peak hours....so basically...8-9-30am and 4pm -6pm, boats should be forced to drop anchor and wait for the rush periods to pass.
+gg41r There is restrictions on during peak times and the Muirtown and Tomnahurich bridges are not allowed to be opened. There is even an extra restriction on Sundays where they cannot be opened so they do not interfere with church times.
