- In this video, we explain what happened to two of the most iconic cars to ever roll out of the Gas Monkey Garage in Dallas, TX: the Hi-Po Hauler and the Midas Monkey. Richard Rawlings asked Mattel if he created a cool enough car that it could be turned into a Hot Wheels collectible, and for the very first time, they said yes to an independent shop. The end result was incredible but since Fast N' Loud has left TV for a few years fans have been wondering where they went. This video will expose that and MORE!

Just started watching your videos. Very interesting. And well researched. Thank you.
Interesting story and video. Happy holidays from Metro Detroit. G
Thanks for the vid! I would like to see a vid of the HW museum in MD. One big regret was selling a very nice 69 Chevelle SS396 - I did get a Corvette but should have held onto the Chevelle.
What ever happened to the car show of two brothers who were over 300 pounds. They built race cars for customers and estimated their top speed. The show ran before pimp my ride.
I competed on the Hotwheels Legend Tour when the midas monkey was on it, there were better built corvettes at the show
I say the Midas Monkey on the Hot Wheels Legends tour last year
