My subscribers may notice I'm trying something a bit different in this review video. I shot half of the video outdoor and half indoor in my office. Do you like it? Does it make the video more interesting to watch? Should I keep doing it this way instead of shooting the whole video in my office? Please feel free to give me some feedback so I can improve :)
Hello my friend, Thanks for the cool videos every time I love your kind of videos You have also tested the Sigma 85mm 1.4, you would say that the Sigma 85mm 1.4 DG DN can work with the Sigma 105 keep up with bokeh, sharpness or are they equivalent? I'm not sure which lens to use the 85mm DG DN is now much more compact and convenient for movies but i don't want to compromise when taking pictures would you say the photo, sharpness and bokeh quality are equally good? i Wish you a Merry Christmas..
Hello ntinos I would love to try it but I have returned the sigma soon after I have done this video unfortunately. it would be quite a front heavy combo for sure but I think it won't be painful as z6's grip is pretty deep for its size and you will be holding the camera with two hands anyway
Hi sir I do have an question the global page of Sigma shows that for your and Mine Camera the D800 you need to download the latest firmware update did you do that or not because I am in the progress for buying this lens and the newest 70-200 Sports lens I can not rent it here in South America to test them out that's why many thanks when answer comes ps good review Well done !
Hey Cody, from memory Sony has the 100 f/2.8 STF lens right? I have not used that lens myself but I heard the bokeh is beautiful because of the stf design. However if you want shallow dof, it can't really compare to the sigma which is 2 stops faster
Just got this last week to pair with my z6..this thing is sharp! I don't mind the weight, i only care for image quality and pictures you can create with this lens..

Fantastic review!
Thank you! Cheers!
How thus this compare to the nikon 105mm 1.4E? Thank you.
hi Malcolm sorry i haven't done any direct comparison
Great review, thanks !
Did you mount this 105 to your Nikon Z6? Is it painful the handling of this compo, how it perform ?
Thank you!

D850 = 1015g, Z6 = 675g, 105 = 1640g
Can u plz compare it, sigma 105 art Vs Canon 200 f2, in terms of bokeh, sharpness & colors!
It might be a bit hard as I have no canon gear myself
I just tried it a few day at some event in my country. Its size is too big but its quality is fantastic.
Yes agree. If you can live with the size and weight, it's a fantastic lens!!!
You need to go at gym first before getting this lens lmao
No argument from me. Stunning pictures to be sure!!!!!!!
Thanks John!!

I didn't download latest firmware but it seems working fine for me
Sir for wedding i have 2 a7iii,i use 35mm 1.8,if i add 105mm 1.4 for another(with bettery grip) - is that suitable for wedding?
yes i think so. should be able to create some beautiful photos!
Very nice! Really enjoyed this review, outdoor set is a great addition to your video, audio sounds a lot nicer as well :)
Thanks OnCam31!!! Haha yes finally got the audio to almost what I want! Who would have thought it's so hard!! :/
Better than Sony alternative though?

So the 105 performs well with the FTZ adaptor? Any issues?
Brilliant lens, brilliant review
Thank you Tim
@@TheRealRichardWong for me I was never going to let weight be an issue with this lens, not only does it perform brilliantly, it looks brilliant too

Using a speed-booster with this on an APS-c camera and you will get a 105mm F1.0 lens !
What a beast.
