Currently I am using crimson hides edge beveler. You are totally right. The more expensive edge beveler is a game changer. Especially when you use it on the back side of the leather.

Also wanted to ask you do you have any recommendations for Hole punchers and strap end punchers? I was looking at Vergez Blanchard but yeah...expensive stuff here
